Knighton Park

Lovely afternoon out with my daughter and her friends and our dog.
Lots of things for the kids to keep them entertained and loads of space for the dog to run around.
Nice stop for an ice cream too

Lovely park, perfect for a day out with the kids. There are playgrounds, tennis courts, ice cream van and above everything else, it’s sooo beautiful and clean!

Great park on the edge of Leicester with some brilliant features such as the sensory garden, foot golf and well kept gardens and trees

Great place for a picnic! Parking, public toilets, outdoor gym, kids play area and local sports! There's a number of paths to walk around some are very well manicured and there's some off-road ones too which take you through wooded areas and a stream. A large number of trees. A really nice park which has the advantage of a small car park for when you are feeling lazy and a cycle path for when you are not. There is sometimes an ice cream van there at the weekend. Totally Great place to spend time with kids, chitchat with friends.

Parking is free.
There's a play area for children and picnic area.
Toilets must be on site, but I didn't see any.
Fantastic place for a nature walk or to go pond dipping.
Saw lots of people walking their dogs, so it's a dog-friendly park.
Plenty of wildlife in the the pond.
I went during the mid-morning and so felt safe as others were around.
Can't really comment about how safe the park is at quieter times, have heard some not so good experiences that people have encountered.

best park ever! It’s a big and you can explore in it! There’s a lake and so much more. My daughter learnt how to ride a bike here it’s so memorable! Definitely go here for bike rides etc.

The play park area is enormous (3 gated play area's) for all different ages and abilities. It has everything you could think of, even a sand put with a digger. My 2 year old was busy for 2.5 hours 😄

Fantastic place to take a stroll, walk the dog or let the children run off some energy. Free parking or local bus stops right out the front. There's an outside gym and tennis courts as well as rest rooms.

Wonderful park, great coffee barista halfway round next to the loos, ',Scruffy Thomas', only there on certain days though. Icecream van at weekends. Perfect for dogs too, lots of of lead adventure

Beautiful with play area tennis court and plenty of space to play football or cricket or have a picnic. Lovely walk through small forest or walk by a small stream.....very family friendly. Beautifully maintained and plenty of flower bushes and trees to please the eye. Love this park in the middle of the city with car park.

Great park, lots of green space, tennis courts, ping pong tables (although you'll need your own bat and balls), and multiple children's play areas suitable for all ages (also one of those free outside gyms but I've never used it)

Beautiful Park to walk around. Lovely sensory garden, and lots of woodland. Perfect for any weather, and for anyone. Such a nice Park to stroll around in, and a free car park! Brilliant.

Great for people with kids, dog-walkers and people doing sports. Great park with a free car park. In spring everything is blossoming, so the views around are truly breathtaking 🌸

Great park! Decent size too! Nice park for the dog, enough places to run around! Children have plenty to do. Perfect for all seasons!
