Halo Bridgend Life Centre

I love the pool and how you can use the floats for free and have fun, also love the gym because it's never busy and has many different things to workout with for you, also used the pool for my sisters birthday. Recently I joined this library club where you can do creative writing and reading ect. It's so great, there were only 5 of us but they are all so loving and kind, it's great here.

Booked a swimming session on a Friday afternoon. No problems at all.
It’s only a leisure pool so yo can’t do a twenty meter length. There is a fast lane though, but there’s usually someone using it already.
Overall, I think it’s pretty good, and the cafe is fine too.

Fantastic place to spend the day. Free swimming! Who can complain about that. Staff are very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoy taking the children there for numerous activities and events . And not too expensive, either.

Bridgend Stroke Group play Bowls every Thursday evening and we are helped and tutored by Bridgend Bowling club members and are helped so so much. Thanks to all the members for making us so welcome. Thank You and a Merry Christmas to one & all !

The staff are very informative plesent and friendly
The facility are clean baby area is amazing big family changing rooms ....I can't fault our experience today next time we will have treatments in the beauty rooms as the prices are so reasonable...a big 10 from us both 😀

I previously left a poor review of this place, the cleanliness was very much substandard. In the last 6-9 months it has dramatically improved. Visible weekly regimes are now in place to combat tidemarks, and the little "sandpits" that used to gather in the corners. Changing rooms and showers are better too, but filthy customers are to blame for aberrations there, staff just can't keep up, and shiny as it all looks, it's all based on a 1970s building infrastructure, and so the plumbing sometimes has a wobbly.
Water is quite cloudy, not sure if that's down to high chlorine, not a problem for me but might be for those with allergies or dramatic hair colours.

Great gym, lots of up to date cardiovascular machines. Not a great section of weight lifting machines. The climbing wall looks small if you are a keen climber I would look elsewhere but for beginners it's perfect. The library and toilet soft play looks good but I haven't used it so can't comment. You have to pay for parking, it's quite cheap. Pool is good but small, not the best for lane swimming, mainly for family/kids.

Visited the pool recently, was clean and had a good amount of floaties.

Had my sons party in the soft play area one year, was a very easy process.

I had a tour and told about the classes available I was impressed, have booked some classes.I have lung problems but classes are available that suit my limited mobility. I left feeling empowered first time I have felt like this is ages

Had an amazing reflexology session with Diane. Everything was brilliant from start to finish. A lovely welcome. Room was excellent. Nice and warm and calming. Diane explained everything and discussed my medical history. I felt very comfortable and relaxed. 5*

Great place to take my son swimming. They have a wave machine and a slide to keep him entertained. A good selection of changing cubicles and showers.
Also the gym has a good selection of machines and helpful staff.
Toilets are clean and well looked after too.

Staff are friendly and helpful. They are keeping on top of clearing the gym which was reassuring with this virus going around. You can book into the gym or sports hall which has a gym in it, limited times available for the sports hall. The sports hall is very quiet, never seen many in there.

Staff very helpful car parking charges now apply but you can register your car registration for 2free hours if using the centre.blue badge holders no charge if displaying badge properly car park monitored by parking attendants .check the website for more details.best to book type of fitness session.can cancel upto 2hrs without financial penalty

Great fun at this pool. Was nice to take my daughter on the big slide with me, was expecting to be told "no sorry, its too dangerous". She loved it!!! Also by far the wettest pool i have ever been to, an ive been in many wet pools in my time, awesome stuff 👍

Easy access for abled bodied and disabled persons to both floors. Variety of services to cater for most needs. Children's play area, library, swimming pool and also beauty therapist.lovely clean cafe.

You can have the best equipment, the best facilities but it's the quality of the staff that really make the place. Bridgend staff go above and beyond to give you the very best that they can. The only way to get the best is to give your best, what ever class or exercise you choose the staff will be there to aid and guide you

Plenty of carparking available an ideal place to get out and do something from walking the dogs, visiting the sand park with the children or going to the life centre for a more varied activity. While there why not visit the coffee shop or even the library where you will be greated with a friendly smile. From using the pool or meeting in the gym hiring a court for sport this place has it all. Various activities are on offer for all ages and abilities and qualified coaches are available to help at all times.

This is great leisure centre. Staff are always helpful. It's not busy since you have to book your slots. Plenty to do.

Nice quiet enviroment, people eager to help.

They have a bit of everything here you need to keep fit or just to have a bit of fun staff are very friendly and helpful the siwmming pool is a tidy size and the gym is big and not to busy
