Ffordd Derwen

Graham was very attentive. Took our drinks order quickly. Gave us time to peruse the menu. Food came within 20mins. Hot and tasty. The 3 of us were delighted with our choices. Would definitely recommend.

Always excellent service , great food and owner Graham is an excellent host. My parents who live down the road have been coming to this pub for 50 years and the staff look after them so well. Can’t say enough good things about them .

A lovely warm welcome on arrival and shown to our table promptly.
The waiter Dave was very attentive,taking our orders for drinks and meals quickly.
Although the Derwen was very busy with customers eating we didn’t have to wait too long for our meals.
All our meals were spot on,cooked and presented beautifully and very tasty too!

Made to feel very welcome. Food was delicious and served very quickly. Will definitely be coming back

We arrived a little early on a very busy day but we're treated very well by the staff that manged to find a table for us before our scheduled time with a smile. The food was excellent and good value. This won't be the last time we visit this pub for something to eat but recommend that you book, especially on a special day.

We had a scrumptious Sunday lunch at the Ffordd Derwen. A classic Sunday roast with all the trimmings Very efficient and friendly service. We took our dog along and he was also looked after. We all enjoyed the afternoon .

The staff were brilliant as soon as we came through the door getting our drinks order ready within 3 minutes of us sitting down. The quality of the food and drink was amazing we will be back and tell everyone about Ffordd Derwen highly recommend 5 stars

I enjoyed a 75th birthday celebration with a party of 9.
Between us, we asked for 6 different meal types and all were delivered together - excellent service.
Sonia was excellent doing her duties of bar service and taking of orders.
Andy, in the kitchen must be the most organised chef around.
As for the 'boss', (Graham), he manages operations with perfection.
Thoroughly recommend for a nice meal.

The food is absolutely immense the staff and the owners make you feel very welcome and they can't do enough to make your time there anymore pleasant 10/10 100% recommend and the prices are great and the food is so so nice and fresh

The pub was busy but the staff were great, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, the plates were lovely and hot, the food was all freshly done, presented beautifully and delicious, leftovers came home in doggy bags so we could have pud!

Friendly and welcoming pub. Table service from drinks and menu, staff knowledgeable to menu, minimum wait time for food to arrive to table, served and presentation was what I expected to a high standard. Food was hot on arrival and more importantly absolutely delicious.

Had a lovely meal with friends last weekend , couldn’t fault anything , big portion size , very good value for money.

I run a lunch group for the local u3a and I took a group of 20 members to Ffordd Derwen for lunch. We have been before. Everyone said how good the food and the service was. The Ffordd Derwen is also a very clean and pleasant place to eat.

Graham , Sonia , Allison and all the staff are very friendly warm welcoming atmosphere,
Nothing is to much trouble,
For the team,
Which May I add work very well together,
