We ate in here on a couple of occasions very nice.
Our only issue was the number of tables reserved in this place was ridiculous…. On both occasions we sat in an area of which we wouldn’t of chose but due to reserved tables we had to sit there …!! Even though for the next couple of hours we watched nobody sat at these ‘reserved’ tables …!!
And the Exact same thing happened the next day … also we watch customers turn around and walk back out due to this …
If your business can afford to do this ..! So be it ….! But it’s not good practice.
* Take a non refundable deposit per reserved table and a 20 minute window to arrive on time.
Also dog friendly.

We had 2 fantastic meals while on holiday husband had a mixed grill and said it was the best hed had, definitely will be going back. Staff lovely and friendly-great service also child friendly,all round excellent place to enjoy a family meal.

Food was nice. They accommodated our 2 Labrador dogs which was brilliant. I would totally recommend coming here thank you for making us feel welcome x

We booked a table for the Maquay unsure what to expect, when we rang we were greeted with a nice receptionist taking our booking for 5.30pm, on arrival it was quite busy with families & couples the place was very lively. The food is very reasonably priced & a good choice. I went for the Sunday Roast Beef dinner followed with a Ice-cream Sundae and honestly can say it was well worth it. The food was plentiful & very tasty. The service was second to none asking "was everything ok with the meal" on a couple of occasions. The Doom Bar was on form. In my view it was lovely well organised, well cooked and well served. We will definitely be paying another visit.

Had the roast beef, two veg fantastic roast potatoes. Could not have been better. Service was excellent.. and they had alcohol free Guinness

Great pub grub and lots of outdoor segregate seating so Covid safe. We were staying in Sunnyvale Caravan Park (just behind) and ate there a couple of times. Pictures attached were taken after we had started. (I forgot! ☺) All the food was great, came hot and staff where helpful. As with all outside seating, check where the smoking area is. Highly recommend a visit if you are nearby. 👍🏻

Nice seaside pub with great outdoor seating. Didn't eat, but there were waiting on staff taking food to other tables.
Staff were friendly. Will pop in next time I walk by for sure.

Sunday roasts worth trying nicely cooked loads of meat on plates and generous with the vegetables.

Love this place. Been before when I'm on holiday. Im never disappointed. Steaks twp for £15 a bargain. Size ample and steak are well cooked to your requirement. Ive had a roast there too. Very nice and value for money. Will visit again for sure

Lovely little beer garden and some pods outside to sit in , reasonably priced food and drinks to and the service was fantastic

We've been in The Mayquay many times with family and friends! But tonight they've gone above and beyond for a family members 60th birthday. The staff, service and food were 5* even though it was extremely busy their standard did not disappoint. Thank you to all the staff working tonight! We will see you again soon Xx

Was recommended this pub / restaurant. So glad we visited. Really good atmosphere, lovely friendly attentive staff & great food. Dog friendly too. Bonus ❤
(Only thing that I'd change is the stuffing) It wasn't roasted. Appeared to be microwaved from raw. Looked horrible and not appealing at all. Not sure if it was because we ordered after we got our food. We weren't told it was an option but it looked horrid 😝 Apart from this, loved everything. Staff a credit to the pub.

The food was amazing here, 3 course meals and everything was perfect. The staff where lovely and the outside seating is all undercover and warm

Had a little holiday in rhyl and im so glad we found this place! Staff were so so friendly and the food was just gorgeous, real fresh pub food, cant wait to go back again.

Very friendly and efficient staff who were polite. Food is well priced either side of £10 and lots of various seating to suit every occasion, dogs welcome in outdoor large porch area (under cover) and water provided, we would definitely visit again

3 Food was really good and my food is good and peppercorn sauce with steak really nice that is our first time been there at pub The Mayquay. Oh yeah will come back again as soon
