Traditional local village pub.
We were in the area for the weekend and our host has suggested us to go for Sunday lunch.
It was a good choice; the roast was tasty and reasonably priced. The warm chocolate cake was delicious too.

Dog friendly - polite staff.

I was in the area this weekend and went to The Rock Cross Inn. It's a perfect traditional village pub with a good selection of Ales and drinks. Sunday Lunch was really good and at a reasonable price. The cheesecake was amazing!! The staff and Landlord were all really friendly and welcoming. I would definitely return.

Met up with an old friend after 2 years. Friend of my Dad's. Great pub. I've known it all my life.

Wonderful food... Great atmosphere.. Out of this world beer!

This is a lovely country pub that has that local vibe without the 'American Werewolf In London' unfriendliness. in fact, it's super friendly. The Sunday lunches (the only day they serve food) are substantial but you'd be advised to book. Pool table, Juke box, dartboard, nice bar to sit at, good selection of beer and local gin...ticks all the boxes.

We booked Sunday dinner for 4 of us and it was a lovely experience. The food was tasty and homely. Will definitely be going back!

A proper village pub. Friendly landlord, good food and a great selection of well kept real ales.
Pool table, darts board & juke box. Outside seating in the garden for summer and lovely and cosy when the log burners go on in the winter! Kids playground just over the road...What more do you want?

A real country pub where the community gathers for so many activities or just a friendly drink. Traditional Sunday lunches are very popular and highly recomended.

A lovely country pub & restaurant , with a wonderful atmosphere &good beers @ wines great service and bar games & pool table. You must give it a try, the food is excellent & excellent service!!!!
