Really lovely pet shop. The team at Syston have been so helpful since we have been dog owners. When needing a quality bed they let our dog try for size, she’s a large breed but not huge for breed so we downsized seeing her in situ. Sadly, the one we needed wasn’t in stock in their store. They rang around their other stores and someone drove it over. Great service! Thank you Chloe for your help. 5⭐

Great place for the weird and wonderful bits n bobs that your doggo might enjoy nibbling on. We got our pooch his 'gottcha' 12 month birthday bone from here. It looks like it came off a dinosaur!

The staff are up to date with the information of various pets, they all seem to be very passionate about at least one type of animal. Even with knowledge on hamster care, I still learnt a few new things from the lady who helped us. All the hamsters and birds were in spacious enclosures and looked well cared for. The cost wasn't as painful as I expected too and I felt comfortable buying the items knowing it would help my new hamster's welfare. This is the only pet shop I have ever gone to that hit my expectations of what a pet shop should be like. Little Rory is now settling in his new home now thanks to them!

Excellent shop well worth the visit. Very well stocked with a surprisingly good selection of poultry foods and equipment, aviary and exotics supplies at reasonable price. Good selection of caged birds, reptiles and pet invertebrates; all immaculately kept, with lots of enrichment and clean enclosures. I didn't get chance to check out the rest but looks like they are well stocked for any sort of pet you may have. Shop is nicely presented and everything easy to find. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable.

As a pet owner it's important to understand what protein and added filler is within the food you're giving your dog. Many chains and shops sell the big brands you're most likely to see in the supermarkets and discount chains which contain protein that cannot be sourced, is inferior to the quantity and quality added to brands like Symply and contain no fillers. The big well known brands which are not sold here are known to kill your pets thus here they sell too quality brands which will keep your loved pet tip top for longer and for less money. Many foods contain grains and poor quality protein it's like giving processed meat vs pure meat. You decide which is better it's not rocket science and the staff do a wonderful job to present you with choices and I'll be going again today with my patterdale Samson for more advice and Symply dog food :-) staff are helpful and not too in your face :-)

Our spider hasn’t been eating and I went in to today and spoke with Anna, she recommended to try some small crickets and as soon as I put it in he went for it and is now currently feeding! Thank you so much! Such a well educated and nice woman! X

Cannot fault this shop or the staff. Since we've got our puppy they have been great with advice and help with such a great selection of natural dog food and treats. They're not forcing sales as the food they recommended for our puppy was cheaper than what he was on. Brilliant shop with even better service! Definitely becoming regulars here.

Staff are very helpful and clearly knowledgeable about the pets and their required care. I'm a newbie to tropical aquariums but the staff were great at answering questions and giving advice on the topic.

I definitely recommend this place if you are looking to get a pet, especially for first time buyers/owners. I will definitely be coming back in the future.

Love this place, have alot of choice for all your pets and can attest for the care the animals get having purchasing a hamster from there previously, they made sure we had the right sized cage and the hamster had been handled regularly making it wonderfully tame. The prices are reasonable and the staff do seem to be very knowledgeable. Highly recommend for your pets needs.

Great friendly staff who'll readily give advice on anything pet related essentially for me was swapping my K9 to read feed and how much to give and how to ensure correct nutritional values were gained.

This is by far my favourite pet shop I have ever visited. Not only do they have a wide range of pet supplies, the staff are also incredibly knowledgeable about pet care. We came in to buy a Syrian hamster and all the animals for sale were happy and very friendly/handleable and lived in very spacious enclosures. Staff member Ryan was very up to date on current pet care and we are already falling in love with our new pet! Thank you!

Had work experience here, staff were friendly, patient and guiding. The store is very clean and simple to navigate around and they have all sorts of products for your pet to love! Tons of cute pets too!

My only shame is i couldn't finish my work experience, I was taken off after one day, but if i had a full 9 weeks here, i'd have absolutely loved it.
