Horn & Trumpet

Went there for a meal with a friend as we make use the 30% discount offer. Plenty of parking spaces outside and inside is nice and airy. Food was surprisingly good for what we've paid. The staff were nice and friendly, and customer toilets were clean.

It was lovely and quiet, and we could choose where to sit. We had a great table in a bay window with a view of the lake below.
The food was good, and piping hot.
I had a mixed grill and my partner had gammon, which she ate every last bit.
The prices were good, and were reduced thanks to an offer.
We’ll be calling again for another midweek meal in the near future.

We made a booking but the pub had so many seats that we were told to pick our own, the children’s area was perfect for our little girl to relax in and the various tables that were sat around it made it easy for us to leave her and be settled at the table. The toilets were perfectly clean and a lovely place to be in, the food came within 30 minutes of ordering and was absolutely beautiful, we had the cow boy burger which was absolutely lovely and the fries were crispy and beautiful. The outside play area was nice and clean and safe and just enough for our 7 year old. Overall a lovely experience and would definitely come again

My wife and I came for a nice meal and that's what we found. Bit of a hectic Friday, but with staff like Izzy, serving with a smile, we didn't wait long to order drinks and food.

Having the mega mixed grill was tasty but ultimately too much and so I'll have to take some of it back home. Thankfully Izzy was able to help me once again getting me a container.

I appreciate that despite being rushed off her feet she still made time to make us feel welcome and we will be back.

A wonderful experience as always, the staff go above and beyond, and the service was excellent on what was a very busy evening. Our group enjoyed a fantastic meal and the drinks service to table was impeccable. See you again soon.

Great atmosphere for families all year round! Amazing and very helpful staff also! Staff go above and beyond to serve quickly and keep customers happy! Never had an issue with food or service!

We have taken him with us before but the welcome he received at the horn and trumpet was amazing

Went here for the first time. Food was excelllent order a chicken burger and my family had mains and sides. Very good quality food. Quick service between 15 and 20 minutes the store manager was amazing. Dylan was his name sorted us out proper good. Very family friendly.

The staff are always amazing with my food allergy. I never have to worry about cross contamination and they will always check that everything is safe. Certain staff members remember my allergy when I come in and the table is always wiped just in case.

We went to the Horn & Trunpet for a birthday meal. Staff were absolutely outstanding. Customer service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Food and drinks were lovely. Definitely would recommend. Absolutely amazing staff team that make you feel welcome. Thank you!

Having made several visits to The Horn and Trumpet over the past few months, it has become a favourite place to enjoy a meal in pleasant surroundings.
As ever, staff were polite and helpful, Holly deserving a mention in this instance for her efficiency and friendly nature.

From the minute we arrived we were looked after.
Service was great. Catered for all our fussy eaters. Food was superb. We will definitely be returning. Huge thank you to Dylan for looking after us.

Service was fantastic, food was served quick, it was nice and hot no complaints. One downside is that we were sat by the children play area and the children were screaming my husband had a headache. So we left early

Very friendly staff, nice food, very clean and tidy, even the toilets were spotless, that my 8yr old granddaughter commented on it. Good value for money, has a child's play area, would highly recommend

Very dog friendly, water and biscuits delivered to the table even though they’d been for a swim themselves all in all another lovely lunch out with Chelsea and her staff coordinating the group, the weekend farm event was a success so definitely look out on their Facebook for the next event !

Been to this pub/ restaurant several times over the last 12mths always been really happy with service & staff definitely good value for money .friends & family who hadn't been before this visit were impressed
