Afford Rent-A-Car

We hired the Jeep Compass for a journey up to County Durham. We needed a high level vehicle for my disabled mum to climb into and also to do a trip to a farm house located up a steep stony drive. The Jeep handled it no problem. We were pleased with the price and as for the vehicle, it was perfect for what we needed. It was clean and tidy upon pick up. The hand over of the keys was soon done, just make sure you have all the appropriate paperwork. We returned the vehicle the evening before it was due back, as had a lot of other people, fortunately we managed to get the last available parking space. Overall a very positive experience. I would definitely recommend Afford. We will be back in the near future. Thanks for everything 🙏

Moving home yourself can be very stressful; with one of the stressors being, hiring the right van at the right time. For those who have moved, the timing of your move is in the hands of mainly, the solicitors. You're given a date, you hire the van and then it changes; the move date that is. Well what can I say, I needed a Luton van with tailift for 2 days so I called the Stafford branch of Afford, who were only too happy to help, they were bloomin marvellous. Phil in the office bent over backwards to get me the van I wanted at the right price (no hidden extras when I got there) for the 2 days, which I could cancel quite easy if the move date changed, it didn't. Helen was also great and showed me around the van including the use of the tailift. Thanks to the folks at the Stafford branch of Afford, our move to our new home went smoothly. Marvellous 👍🏻😁

Everytime i travel from the US back to the UK, I always use Afford. They are always very helpful and get me what i need for my stay. Phil always seems so efficient in the Stafford office and i get that peace of mind feeling. No other company in the UK has EVER been able to offer what Afford can.

I had the best experience from day one, at Stafford Branch, where I met Phyle an excellent guy who assisted me through from my inquiries to full rental of a very nice and easy to operate Sprinter van one of the best. The whole process was made easy and hustle free. Phyle is one very good and courteous professional and a serious guy all in one, simply the best.

Just got to say these guys never fail to deliver in customer services or top off the range cars which are in immaculate condition in and out, just had a C5X from them for the weekend and wow the car was absolutely stunning great on fuel comfy and nice and spacious, being a customer with them for bout 2 years now and wouldn't go anywhere else even if they fully booked I still won't go anywhere else, Alex is a credit to your company he does his very best to accommodate you all the staff on front counter are a credit, I am returning for the VW Amarok on the 19th this month, so it's just a massive thank you for all your hard work providing me with cars i ask for keep up the hard work as i'm your life time customer

We were caught out when our car broke down and were in urgent need, and this was a life saver! We spoke to Alex who was absolutely fantastic, very friendly service and went out of his way to help us even when we were calling almost at the point they were closing. He even helped sort out our insurance details when my address wasn't recorded on DVLA properly, definitely went the extra mile and was very professional and happy to help throughout. Cannot thank Alex enough and had a brilliant experience.

Can't fault them. Was running late to drop the car off due to traffic, I was able to call and extend the rental until the morning for a small price rather than having to purchase a whole extra day.

They have a great range of vehicles all clean and ready to go, affordable prices and you don't have to leave a deposit. Would use them anytime I need a hire car.

Very fast! Sorted in minutes rather than hours. Speed I must stress! I needed a car quickly, as mine broke down. Prices pretty competitive, same as other options. But, week by week payment suited my needs. Not always available at every hire company.

No one hires a van for fun. It's for moving house, a tip run or something practical - usually the opposite of what you'd rather be doing on a weekend.
So it was really lovely that Dan at Afford managed to not only find us a vehicle at the last minute for an emergency issue, but also genuinely cared about our own issues that had led to needing the van in the first place.
It would be easy for anyone to treat this purely as a transaction; Dan made it feel like Afford really cared.
(And the vehicle was perfect, spotless and simple to pick-up and complete the paperwork). A+
