I visited with my mum, and sister one evening. My sister Sarah is the bride and we had an amazing time with Jane. Knowing the bride was nervous and very anxious about it all, She made us feel so welcome and at ease, Jane was so helpful and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond. Nothing was to much trouble. Brilliant business, fantastic value and quality of dresses, we would definitely recommend to anyone newly engaged or looking for a beautiful gown. Thank you so much Jane.

Well four/five years since my original review when my daughter was a bridesmaid, we were back......
This time my own daughter (where do the years go?! 👶) is the bride and this was her immediate first port of call.

Jane is amazing! Her knowledge, expertise, advice and patience is second to none.
We experienced absolutely no "hard" sell!
She refreshingly guides you to the Sales Rail, rather than virtually dragging you straight passed to the designer gown section.
Don't have an idea of what you want? No problem!
Jane will go through each style of dress with you to find what's 'just right for you', advising along the way, and then try and find your perfect dress within your budget. She's dedicated to what she does, so don't expect this to be a 10 minute "quick in and out" experience!
To give you an idea, I think my daughter tried on 6 dresses... and that was just to find the style that was hers.
Then the real fun begins! 👏
You can tell she cares and genuinely wants the dress you choose to be totally perfect 'for you' .
PLUS, being the seamstress, she can adapt or make any necessary alterations to your dress too!
2-in-1 service, excellent!
We still have some ways to go until we'll be in a position to finalise things for the 'big event', but I'm sure we'll be back where we started in the end!

As soon as we walked in the door we felt at ease and was made to feel most welcome,a small but quaint shop with the most beautiful bridal assessories ,my daughter is a plus size and was self conscious, but we needn,t have worried because the staff were marvellous, not pushy and full of advice, right from the start to finish of our experience we were happy,they have the most beautiful dresses ,I would highly recommend the crystal fairy company,but make sure you leave plenty of time to order your dress,we were lucky that my daughter,s dress was made i time as they do need several months for the dressmaker to make the dress ,this was our fault and not theirs,I can,t say anything negative about this lovely shop and thankyou to Carole and Jane ,and other staff xx
