Dan and Chris replaced the roof on our kitchen extension at the back of our Victorian terraced house.

They did a great job, the new roof is solid and looks good.

I appreciated Dan's professionalism and openness to explaining all the details of what they would do down to materials choice and how the work would be carried out. Because of the setup of our roof Dan explained it was likely that there could be some damage to the plasterwork on the ceiling inside as a result of the work they did. He was very clear and up front about this, which I appreciated. He knows his stuff - there was some damage, but they repaired this before leaving. I really appreciated this up front honesty and them taking the time to fix this anticipated issue.

They were really quick at completing the job, just a couple of weeks from initial quote to it all being completed. The attention to detail was great, from neat leading to immaculate rendering of the parapet wall. They also kept things tidy while they were with us and tided up all the waste and rubbish.

I'd definitely recommend them and they will be the first people I go to when I need any roofing work in future.

Excellent experience all round. The cost was very reasonable, they arrived on time, kept the area clean and tidy and the roof and guttering repairs were carried out impeccably by professional staff . I highly recommend them .

Update on the below 1/7/2023 - I had another job for the firm, and once again a quick response and the job done.

I've been using DJM Roofing for over a decade - with a 170 year old house, there's always work to be done. I've found the firm very good to deal with, they're responsive and they do what they say they will. What's been really impressive is that more than once they have carried out follow-up maintenance at no charge - not something you see often these days. Very happy to recommend them.

I was looking for roof repairs and was recommended these guys by a friend. They came round, gave me a quote and we booked the job in for after Xmas. Danny and Chris turned up on time (not to be underestimated) and got on with the job professionally and in a timely manner. They kept me informed throughout the day of their progress and also gave me general advice on my roof in the future. They also helped get rid of two old tv aerials that had been hanging around for too long on my roof! I would recommend them as they did a great job at a fair price.

I would definitely recommend DJM Roofing. We noticed water dripping from our kitchen ceiling and called Dan. He came initially to assess what needed doing and returned a few days later with Chris to do the job. The whole process went very smoothly. Dan was friendly and professional, and explained the work that had been done. It was a wonderfully stress-free experience!

A year later part of our downpipe needed repairing, and once again we were impressed with the speed and efficiency with which the job was done.

Very impressed with Dan and Chris. Dan was great at talking through what the issues were with the roof. Other roofers i got quotes from said a lot of work would need to be done, eg replacing several rafters etc. But Dan said only a minimal amount of work was needed as the roof was in good condition and the gap that had appeared only needed to be patched up/made watertight. The other roofers exaggerated problems with the roof, but Dan from the get-go - after looking both inside and outside the roof - said it was sound so didn't need anything fixing structurally, and that we only needed a minimal amount of work, which included minor repairs to the chimney stack and parapet walls.

Dan explained everything clearly and I felt safe in his hands because he wasn't trying to over egg things to get more money. So he basically saved us a lot of dosh, should we had gone with the other (much larger) quotes! Dan is a good, upfront bloke and it's refreshing to know that he just wants to do a good job and not fleece anyone!

Recently used this company for a roof repair. Initially Dan came out, took a look at the roof, offered advice, talked me through the work and priced the job accordingly. The price was very competitive, compared to other companies. On the day of the job, Dan and Chris arrived on time, were friendly and professional. Within a few hours the job was complete, they cleaned up after themselves and Dan showed me what had been done as per the invoice. Would 100% use this company again and would recommend anyone to use them. Service doesn't come much better than this.
