Excellent service throughout. We relocated and very happy with Stephan and Josh, hope you passed your heavy goods vehicle test. Two hours travel to new house, again everything went smoothly with Stepgan and his Uncle, who helped on 2nd half of move. Honestly what a service, I would highly recommend these guys, very professional and very reasonably priced, we didn't have to lift a finger.

The team performed well above and beyond our expectations. Nothing was to much trouble they made sure that we where happy that they had removed all what we wanted packed and removed . Then delivering our belongs to the new home again they made sure the box’s where put in-the correct rooms.
We had a lot of plants and garden furniture to move to our new home and again they asked where I wanted them placed in the garden.

My move was not a straightforward one, with furniture to disassemble, and a large sofa to be removed through a window, but right from Stefan’s pre-move visit, he was calm and reassuring, so that I felt totally de-stressed! The removal day was 32 degrees, but Stefan and Jordan were amazing! Their attitude was professional and pleasant throughout the day. Everything happened like clockwork, from turning up on time, to completing in a very reasonable timeframe. The furniture and boxes were treated with care and respect, and all the disassembled furniture was rebuilt perfectly. I was happy with every aspect of the experience, and have no hesitation in recommending the company.

South Cheshire Removals moved us from a four bed house with garage and a garden full of plants and massive trees in pots. They were outstanding. I really recommend this firm for moving - friendly, super helpful and very strong in the face of extremely unwieldy objects like a huge heavy treadmill. Nothing was too much trouble and my stress was much reduced as a result.

Fast & efficient. Our items were carefully packed and removed. Everything was unloaded very quickly and put in the right place. They always checked if we were taking particular items and where the boxes were to be placed.The guys were cordial, polite and respectful. All in all a good solid service.

My recent removal with this company has resulted in damage to several items of my property . It would appear that they underestimated on the amount of my property and as a consequence the second day was a mad panic at the end . I had to put a quantity of my stuff into storage resulting in a significant charge . I have moved several times in the past with out suffering damage on this scale . Only a very few of my many pictures were properly packed which has caused damage to the frames of many . A very disappointing removal all round to be honest . On a brighter note the removal operatives were a very nice bunch but I would not use or recommend this company again .

I moved house just over a year ago and it’s taken me until now to write a review due to other things going on in my life. I did not have a good experience with South Cheshire Removals. The main upset for me was that I used the firm to move house twice, both times paying £1500 to move firstly into rented and then into a new build. I stored my belongings with them which cost over £200 a month so I actually paid them over £4k. When Stephan came to give me his quote I had a few boxes in the cellar which had photograph albums etc which I was concerned about so I took these to my partners who lives around the corner from where I live now. I also took china and glassware to his house as I felt these would be safer at his house than in storage. On the day I moved into my new home stephan and his 2 colleagues drove a short distance to his house (same estate 2 min drive) and loaded the boxes into his van. It took just under an hour yet he insisted on charging me their ‘hourly’ rate of £80 despite the fact I was already paying him ‘for the day’. These were in my house when he originally quoted me so the fact I’d moved them to my parthers actually meant they had less to move in the first move! This left a very bad feeling as I think it was incredibly petty. Especially as there had been a delay in getting the key due to the money taking time to reach the seller so the guys were actually sat in their vans not doing anything when we went over to collect the boxes. Stephan knew I was not happy at having to pay the extra amount but I felt I had little choice. I hope the extra £80 he charged me has made a difference to his life! I was also upset that they didn’t have enough sheets to lay on the brand new carpets and since it had been raining their boots were wet. I did mention this at the time but he was dismissive. Had I known this I would have provided dust sheets myself. On top of this they left at 4pm leaving my double driveway full of furniture because I still didn’t have the key for the garage which me and the kids then had to put in the garage ourselves. It was dark, cold and I was exhausted. I felt very let down about that since I was paying a lot of money and assumed they’d stay as long as necessary. Throughout the day Stephan reminded me several times that they charge additional ‘waiting’ rates so at 4pm I reluctantly agreed they could go. When he left I was actually on my way to collect the key (we spoke over the phone) and I wasn’t home much later but by the time I was back they’d gone. On the day we moved out of rented I felt under the weather and run down. I had a slight cough and Stephan made several remarks on the lines of ‘I hope you haven’t got Covid’. He told me how in the past they’d left jobs due to families having Covid and they’d had to move on a different day! I kept telling him I didn’t have Covid and it made me feel really uncomfortable. Since you have to pay upfront when moving I am sure Stephan would have had no problem walking out on the job! Also both times I moved he flung open the outside doors to let fresh air in but this meant the house was unnecessarily freezing cold. Id have preferred if he had politely asked rather than doing it like it was his house. I found Stephan quite blunt. Another company who had quoted me to move house had told me they’d charge me less when moving out of the rental to my new build but unfortunately they were not available on the date my chain wanted.
