Fantastic family owned music shop geared towards stringed instruments and amplification. A dazzling array of high end acoustic guitars is the real draw, but there are guitars and basses offered to suit all levels and budgets and the staff are so easy to talk to. They also undertake guitar repairs and modifications for the most reasonable pricing in the area. A real one-stop shop for all guitar enthusiasts!

Ok where to start?? If.. only, if I could find any fault would be closed on Monday. But big huge BUT you really really really need visit this shop. (From my own experience of stores from around Europe I've visited a few) this store is exceptional. From beginners equipment to a seasoned pro gear.. these guys can cater for. Huge selection electric guitars/ bases (brands you couldn't dream of getting a hold of/ new manufactures) acoustics, amps .. pretty much everything under the roof. Knowledgeable friendly staff. Couldn't have been made more welcome when visiting. Truly 5*** (these guys could teach the bigger stores a thing or two regarding customer service). If you play 6 strings.. you'd be foolish not to visit, it's that good!!

Recently bought an ESP LTD EC-401 and an amp from KMC. Really easy going and accommodating staff, I terrible with names so forgive me, which made the purchase seemless. Also got to try the guitar and amp without feeling pressured, which happens at nearly every other music shop.

Great shop. A great range of guitars from beginner to pro level. They stock quality guitars from smaller English builders.

Stopped off in Knighton today. Came through 2 weeks ago and saw this shop. Today I made time to go in - so glad I did. Satisfying range of excellent guitars for all price ranges, from Starters to Serious Players. Huge choice of strings, straps, capos etc , everything you could need. As big a stock of quality products as many of the larger shops in and around much bigger towns/cities. AND GUITARS FOR LEFTIES TOO !
And best of all - A customer -orientated user -friendly knowledgeable Salesperson!!!!

Excellent range of guitars and equipment, very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Visited with my son who is just starting to learn to play the guitar, amazed by the amount of stock for an independent business, from entry level budget guitars way up to the really fancy stuff that I don't know a great deal about but looks very impressive! The person who helped us took the time to talk to my son about what he likes to play and gave us advice about strings, tuning, storage etc. We came away very happy!

Very nice people, they undertook a small repair on my guitar which has been very successful.

Went to look at their excellent selection of Larivee acoustics. I spent well over an hour and a half in the shop trying out a bunch of different guitars before finally coming away with two wonderful OM models. It was a great experience. Not rushed at all, no pressure to buy anything, no issue with me changing the tunings on everything I got my hands on. They even went and got some more models out of storage - for me to spend all of 5 seconds on one before deciding I preferred one I'd previously played. It was great to be able to check everything that had been on my radar. Will definitely be going there again when I'm in the market for another good acoustic. One of the best music shop experiences I've ever had and well worth a visit.

The team at Knighton make you feel very welcome and most importantly comfortable to try out the guitars. I purchased a beautiful Lakestone acoustic guitar after trying a wide range of acoustics. No rush, no hard sell and no pressure. Expert knowledge combined with great service. I love this shop but will a while before my next visit... Only because my wallet needs some recovery time. Great experience with them online - even during the coronavirus pandemic the staff were quick to respond and helpful as ever, and delivery was surprisingly fast! They have some great Larrivee acoustics in stock.. Special thanks to Tom who was very helpful and knowledgeable.
