We just stayed in the Radnoshire Arms between the 29th and 1st of April, for 2 nights. We traveled with our two young children, aged 3 and 6, and we loved it. The staff is very welcoming and kind, the rooms are spacious with a kitchenette and mini fridge, all impeccably clean. There is a lovely garden, where my children did their Easter egg hunt, and a cute little playground. The food at their restaurant is delicious, and we were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast, which was included in our stay.
The surrounding town of Presteigne is lovely and the people are very very kind and welcoming.
The only downside we experienced was a couple of rude guests that woke up our children at midnight with their yelling
but that was not the hotel's fault at all.
Overall, a wonderful stay and we wish we would have stayed longer. Highly recommended

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Radnorshire Arms Hotel, and it was a delightful experience.

The staff's warm and welcoming demeanor added a special touch to my stay, making me feel right at home. The spacious and comfortable rooms provided a relaxing retreat, ensuring a restful night's sleep.

Additionally, the culinary offerings exceeded my expectations; the food was not only delicious but showcased a remarkable attention to quality. Overall, a highly recommended destination for those seeking both comfort and excellent hospitality.

We just spent 3 nights at this lovely cosy hotel which has a really interesting history and is very atmospheric Our room had plenty of space and was very clean. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was good, especially the carvery. Breakfast was continental, basically a choice of cereal, fruit, toast and limited cold meet and cheese. Not to everyone’s taste. It is a hotel we would definitely return too.

I arranged a surprise party for my mothers 85th Birthday party. I cannot fault the afternoon we had. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. I was even met at the door by the owner! Thank you so much!

Went for Sunday lunch (carvery), which was amazing! The beef melted in our mouths, and the pigs in blankets were the nicest I've ever tasted. Will definitely be going back.

Stayed one night, should have stayed for two. The overall building is great, it's so full of character, the room was clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable.
Bathroom was a little small but shower was great, shame did not have the time to use the whirlpool bath.
Breakfast was good.
The manager who checked us in was very helpful and polite.
Very good stay.

We went last minute on the way through and had the carvery. Accommodated 3 of us pretty quickly. Drinks came quick and carvery was very good with decent portions. £38 for three of us (one child) was great value. Garden was an added bonus with kids play park.

Stayed here all week room 21 and all i can say is everything is 5 star my rooms is perfect spotless clean. .I have my water and coffee replaced every day. The food is outstanding midweek carvery is one of the best . The continental breakfast will give your day a good healthy start . The pizza and pint meal deal is probably the best u find top quality ingredients with a choice of any drink Is a bargain for 9.95. The staff will do what they can to make sure u get the best . Please keep supporting places like this in small beautiful towns as it helps ever little business around . 10/10

Great food and bedroom with friendly professional staff. The wide continental breakfast spread including hams and cheezes more than make up for a lack of cooked breakfast option. Lovely old building including panelled dining room and a Priest Hole.

Lovely hidden gem. Used it for an overnight stop to break a journey and now intend to return. Friendly helpful staff throughout. Good food despite no cooked breakfast option. Room was very comfortable and well appointed surprising in a building with 500 years of history. Floors can creak and be a bit uneven but reflect the age of the hotel.

Rooms at back, not in building, are spacious enough but pretty basic. Gardensare great, very good for small children, play area etc, was very, very quiet in the evening great pint of Butty Bach. Not a lot to do in the town itself, had a lovely pizza...

Stayed here for two weeks through a work course and the staff and management couldn't have been more accommodating. Rooms were spotless and anything I needed was replaced.

The food in the bar was great! All cooked fresh and maintained its standard every evening!

Would definitely visit here again!

I had the sirloin steak which was delicious. Generously accompanied by cooked vegetables and chips,, the meal and outdoor setting with the warm sun going down was a lovely experience and excellent value. Would happily go again.

On booking in at the Radnorshire Arms, we hoped to have a holiday in a peaceful location. Fortunately, our wish was granted. Our rooms were comfortable, with no outside noises heard at all (apart from the sound of rooks waking us up every morning)

The staff were helpful and we enjoyed breakfast and our evening meal. The hotel was also in a central location for us to travel around the area. Overall, I highly recommend the hotel to anyone.
