We stayed in our motorhome at The Bulls Head at Monyash, nice sized car park, all is asked is that you go in for a few beers, we add food there as well, lovely pub, great food and good sized portions, some nice locally brewed real ales as well as ladders and stouts.
Can use the facilities whilst the pub is open but there is a lovely cafe next door that opens at 9.00am.
Both highly recommended.

What a great place. Always busy but friendly and attentive. Service is good and the food the same. Sundays always brings out the bikers and this bank holiday there was even a Morris dancing show.

Amazing food and service! Huge portions, great value for money. Dog friendly! I don’t have photos because we just devoured it! Mushroom soup, ribs, quiche, all top notch. And the servers were so helpful, quick, and friendly. Would come back and def recommend!

Party of 11 was accommodated without any problem when we’d been turned down at two other establishments in Hartington (one booked up; one couldn’t cope)

Anyway - everyone enjoyed their food. Good sized portions. 👍🏽

Very good waitress served us.

Good interior - great feeling, comfy chairs etc.

Great place to stop on the way in or out of the Peak District. We hadn't planned on staying as late so had to find somewhere for food.

This pub has great ratings already which is why we picked it and were not disappointed. Good choice of food and drinks available and it was lovely sitting outside enjoying it.

The service and the staff especially the young girl. We had been on holiday and the instructions on Google were wrong. She went out of her way to help us. The food and service in the pub was excellent. The pub was so busy on the occasions we went in and she was running round serving food and still smiling. She is a credit to the pub and deserves rewarding by the brewery. The older lady was also really pleasant as well even when busy.

We stopped here after a 10 mile walk.
We ordered a baguette each and a portion of chips. You can see from the photos, how generous the portion sizes are.
Great food, reasonably priced and great staff.
Great location, recommended 👍🏻

Great place to stop and rest after a hike in the Dales. Was recommended this pub for an after hike Sunday lunch, and was so glad we visited. Great surroundings, great for families and superb home cooked food and plenty of it. Not to be missed if you're in the area. My picture looks a bit messy, but had extra fresh veg so doesnt do it justice really, but food was beautiful and tasty.

This pub was excellent, very good, efficient friendly staff and the food is absolutely top quality. Dogs allowed in the bar. Monyash is a charming Peak District village.

arrived 1:30pm on thursday after hiking. plenty of tables were available. We ordered startersi.e. whitebaits and prawn cocktail both were tasty. the main meals were trout, lamb casserole and yorkie, all dishes were delicious. meshed potato was in generous portion.

during covid-19 pandemic, we arrived the pub on 3:45pm after a tiring hike at Lathkill Dale. there are plenty outside seats at the back and there is playground for kids. the trout and toffee pudding are tasty. but the beef in yorkie pudding was tough.

Been past this place a few times so decided was worth a visit for a meal. I can say I was impressed the food was very well cooked and nice.

The staff are friendly and the service was quick even though they was very busy for a Tuesday evening. Would recommend a visit here if passing through the area.
