Staff are really friendly and helpful. A young lady Megan made my day because she remembered that I come in a lot, I live in the Old Town and this wee supermarket feels like a genuine local shop. It makes a huge difference when staff chat away and say hello to customers.

High-quality low-price items for a lovely Sunday breakfast. helpful staff. If you want to surprise your partner, family or friends with some delicious and very affordable baked goods, Costa coffee, flowers and (once they repair the machine) freshly squeezed orange juice, this is the place for you! This time we sampled the cheese twist (90p!), the leek-cheddar-onion swirl and pretzel, m they all met or exceeded expectations. Pain-au-raisins were also excellent in previous occasions.

5 stars to the staff at this shop tonight! Especially Scott who directed us to everything we were looking for to go with our steaks … I thought we were friendly in Wales …. We officially love Edinburgh ❤

Really good stock of staple items for a small store. Self service machines working fine and staff were helpful. The store was clean.

Great selection with discounts often on items. Many self checkouts. Bakery section not too bad as well.

This was a nice shop to visit. We were a little nervous as we had seen some bad reviews and had not yet been to a grocery store in another country before. However, the prices were great here, and the man who was helping in the self checkout area was extremely nice. He gave us a hand when the machine was having a time with itself, and made the overall experience here much better. I wish I had asked for his name. A big thank you for his professionalism and kindness.

All around great experience. In spite of a lack of basil, a very satisfactory visit. Very friendly staff, in particular Ben, who stepped up when I was struggling with carrying all my purchases and provided me with a basket while making a friendly and comedic comment once again making it a very enjoyable and memorable visit to my local Sainsbury’s.

Great staff. I needed an ac converter to use my european charger, which they didn't have. One of the employees gave me a great tip where I could get them. Great service!

Very quick and easy self checkout and had things to meet all my needs.

No matter what time of day or evening, the staff have always been friendly.

There is one employee in particular that I would like to take a minute to especially commend : Stephanie (not sure of her surname/family name).

Without exception, every time I've seen her she goes out of her way to be extremely helpful. I've witnessed her interactions with other customers, and it's above and beyond what one might expect during a short trip to the local grocery.

Her genuine smile and genuine concern for the customer is clearly visible and highly appreciated. After 10 days consecutively of shopping here, I was always so happy to see her working hard at every shift and always so very kind and extremely helpful to me and everyone that she was helping.

Her work ethic impressed me so much that I asked to speak with her Manager, Wayeley, to give my positive, honest feedback in person.

There were bargains to be had, shopping-wise, that also kept me coming back.

As an American who had been working and living in Italy, it was so refreshing to come into a well-organized store with very helpful staff that clearly understand the concept of helpful Customer Service.

Bravo to Stephanie, and thank you Wayeley for letting me share my enthusiasm for a job well done!

The boy with a fringe on Wednesday afternoon was very polite and very funny. Great atmosphere and sence of humor. Will visit again!!

This place has a good variety of food and all the staff are nice. The only thing I hate is that loud bell that rings near the bakery. I get a huge fright and jump out of my skin, Catherine Tate style!

Good,wide range of produce. It is very convenient and saves you a load of money.

Lovely store and is very popular with visitors and students, Hats off to the staff doing a great job in a busy Easter with lovely warm weather outside.. Great selection of Easter eggs and treats...

Staff are very helpful if you can't find something that your needing and the Store has a great selection of items to buy from groceries to music and Dvds so you can have a great night in.

Good location

Staff are great, friendly, attentive and always busy. Only down fall is the security staff, for ever on there phones.

Great location for basic grocery needs. Less choice than a full size supermarket which is the intent of local stores.

Helpful staff when I asked them some alimentary information. Prices are higher but that's in ever Sainsbury's local and before you go inside a store you should know it.
