The best steak i have had in many years. Cooked perfectly, tasty and lean. All of the accompnimments to the meal were also perfectly cooked. The beer batter onion rings were amazing so were the mushrooms. The servings were large and we couldnt eat all of if although we wanted to. The young lady who served us was cheerful, very helpful and catered for any requests with a smile, which is unusual these days. All in all a first class experience and would go back in a heart beat. Thanks to all at the Stable for a lovely night.

Most enjoyable tasty lunch. Friendly charming staff who went the extra mile. Reasonable price and all home cooked. Lovely atmosphere. We shall be back.

We were riding for a while till google map showed us this lovely cosy Pub . Fantastic lady at the bar , we order Porkbuns and OMG ..... that was amazing and the Tap fruit Cider even better ..... love atmosphere with some locals playing cards and after dartboard game 🥰

Bloody Good Food, very good service, good selection of beers, nice and cosy with a good bar area to the side. Would definitely recommend and go again, Pork Belly was amazing.

Twenty four of us hungry walkers descended on this pub for lunch, all pre-ordering something different. We were greeted with such friendliness and were soon seated and served with drinks. The fantastic! food was out very quickly and lovely and hot! Everyone of our group said their meal was delicious!

Great pub for Sunday lunches & evening meals. Staff are friendly & the food is fantastic. None of the cheap pub chain rubbish where the food is ok, this is good food & better prices.

Food was really nice ,the order got slightly mixed up but only a small blip and staff are really friendly. The meals are large portions and plenty of choice of puddings .

A fantastic place, the food is superb, the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. If you have food allergies or special requirements you can eat here in confidence. You will need to book, as it does not seat many and is always busy.

An amazing meal, the lamb was perfect, couldn't find fault if I tried. Service was wonderful very attentive and every body was very friendly. Highly recommended

Had a valentines meal here, menu was well thought out, something for every taste. Food very well presented and represented excellent value for money. Staff attentive and well trained without being in your face. Highly recomended.

Great pub if you want a good pint of beer. And if you want food this the place to be, really good food at a low price. I definitely will be going back to this pub.

The food is wonderful and fresh. As we were a group we grabbed a load of the charcuterie boards followed by a pizza each!

Definitely worth going to!
