Massive thank you to Ben for his treatment and advice in managing my patella tendonopathy. He was very professional and with his exercises and shock wave therapy treatment I managed to run the Cardiff 10km pain free and return to playing rugby. I was thrilled with this service and highly recommend Ben and this clinic.

Bridgette has been brilliant- Her expertise and personalised care have been pivotal in my recovery. Thanks to her dedicated efforts, my back is now back to normal. Highly recommended for anyone in need of effective physiotherapy!

After my crash in October 2023, I joined Performance Physiotherapy to help me recover back to how I was before. I was assigned a lovely, warm, friendly woman called Bridgette who has changed my life.
I was new to the area so didn’t know many people, and was a bit shaken up after my accident, but every time I came in for an appointment not only did Bridgette work as a physiotherapist but she worked as a friend. She is so kind, welcoming and genuinely cares for your well-being. I am 100% back to my strength than before with weekly exercises she gave me , and I feel even better!
I am so lucky to have met Bridgette , she truly is as wonderful woman.
The reception team at PP are also so very lovely, always met with a warm smile when you come in. I recommended PP to anyone who needs it, there’s no better place to go! They are all angels and perfectly professional!

After dislocating my shoulder I was referred to performance physio by a top shoulder surgeon. I had the pleasure of working with Ben who not only got my shoulder back to full strength but helped me avoid having surgery. Thank you so much for your help and expertise. Would highly recommend!

I would like to say a big Thank You to Sarah & all the staff at Performance Physiotherapy, for helping me with an issue with both my Achillies Tendons. The service I have received has been 1st class. Working with Sarah has been fantastic, from receiving the Shock Wave Therapy, to providing many exercises for me to work on, in between sessions. After 5 & half weeks, I was finally able to start light training, with the guidance of Sarah. I've since returned to full training and so happy. Having been a Physio for 40 years, and working all over the world with many talented Physios, I found myself unexpectedly in need of Highly Specialised treatment recently.I can honestly say that finding Performance Physiotherapy has changed my life for the better. Every staff member has been fabulous, from Ben to Amanda , and so very kind and understanding.There are no words to describe how my Physio Alena has supported me, listened to me and answered my every question. She is gentle and kind and has an innate ability to literally find every area that needed her attention, with amazing results after only a few treatments.They are truly very special people.

I attended Performance Physiotherapy after a long standing issue with my knees. I saw Daniele who was brilliant and was able to pinpoint the problem within minutes. It was affecting my work which is very physical. Dan provided suitable exercises to do at home and to build strength.

I visited Performance Physiotherapy after a flare up of a long-standing condition, which I've been told over the years (by many physios) is something I have to learn to live with and adapt the way I move. Delighted to be advised this wasn't the case and after being given some exercises and advice I am back to doing what I want without pain. Ross has been an excellent practitioner throughout my physio sessions. He explains what is happening every step of the way and even manages to make you laugh when the treatments are painful. Thoroughly recommend him.

Fantastic experience with Sarah at Performance Physiotherapy. I'm a very keen runner and had an issue with my Foot, which was very painful and causing me problems for a very long time, which prevented me from running and often caused me a lot of pain even with walking. Had numerous physio visits, hospital and even my doctors without any success. Then I was so glad I discovered Performance Physiotherapy. Sarah was amazing, she quickly confirmed an issue with my Peroneal tendon and immediately provided an exercise plan with shockwave therapy. Sarah worked with me with the exercises and was so patient focused with showing me how to perform the exercise correctly. I was given shock wave therapy at the appointment and after much distress with not being able to run I was so happy as the treatment was working and within six weeks I was back to running again pain free after such a long time. Every time I went in Performance Physiotherapy I had such a warm and friendly welcome. I will not doubt go back again should I have any other issues. Thank you so much for all your help, its greatly appreciated.

Went to physio here with Ben I was quite nervous after a fall and breaking my ankle , Ben built the strength up in my ankle/leg, also from his explanation of everything actually helped build my confidence up after a poor experience with the NHS Physio department . Very professional service, friendly staff throughout the practice who obviously know and love their job. Cannot recommend them enough. Thanks for everything

This is the latest treatment I have received from Performance Physio. I saw Barry initially when I was in a huge amount of pain through my hamstrings and hip/back. He laughed when I told him what my goals for the year were but said he’d be positive but realistic about my plans and his treatment. My second appointment was with Ben who again gave me realistic goals depending on my enthusiasm to adhere to the exercises. There was no “hard sell” nor suggestions I kept returning for follow up appointments at any time.
With their help and guidance I have completed a century ride, two organised open water swims, a 70.3 Ironman in Swansea and finally the full monty - Ironman Wales in Tenby.
