Didn’t stay in the rooms, but if they are anything like the rest of the inn you are in for a treat. Great selection of tea. Great friendly service and the decor is very nice too. Will definitely stop here again when I am in the area

Didn’t stay in the rooms so can’t comment. A friendly and welcoming establishment. Great prices and good wine! We enjoyed beef roast and nut roast. Generous portions served with lots of gravy. Beef was super tender. Plenty vegetarian options.

A great place to eat, the beef and Stilton pie is to die for. This pub is a real piece of history.
PS the toffee crisp cheesecake is a bit of alright.

Superb value for both food and drinks. Has the 'local pub' feel but whilst being very welcoming.

Dogs also allowed in half of the pub.

Didn't stay in the rooms as we were camping nearby. Great food at very reasonable prices. Lovely friendly staff. We ate there two nights running. Recommend rump steak and the steak and kidney suet pudding. Best to book as they get busy. Excellent location if your walking Stiperstones.

You'll love it. Been twice now. Once on 1.12.23 and then on 20.4.24. Exceptional both times. Great beer, superb food - the world's best gammon - and absolutely lovely staff and locals. As good as it gets. Never seen toilets like them.

What a find! We moved to Shropshire three years ago and having explored the area for a while have only just come across this lovely, traditional pub in the Shropshire hills. Delicious food, real ales and friendly welcome. Will definitely visit again soon.

Always great food and service at this place. Beer is also kept very well. Top service from all the staff. It is clean which is also a big bonus. Truly a great pub in a small village.

We stopped here for lunch after a walk up Stiperstones and were so glad we did! We received such a warm welcome, the food was delicious and the prices were right. A brilliant place to stop if you have a dog, too. Dogs are very welcome and the staff made sure they had treats and fresh water. Thank you for a lovely afternoon!

Simple pub food done well. Good service. Well kept beer. Need to tidy up car park and building detritus. We nearly turned around and left because of the mess. Not the best impression.

Just went for lunch, I had a very tasty Lamb Shank, they also have a nice dessert menu. Staff are always friendly with good service and they have sensible opening hours unlike some in the area. I recommend this pub for lunchtime food.
