Aber dining

We met some friends here and found the whole experience to be excellent. The staff were so helpful and explained some items on the menu to one of our group, and that they could adapt the dish to suit her needs.
The portions were very generous but I guess the price reflected that, though it's better to pay a little more for a decent portion size!
Sat by the front window we were exposed to some of the good people of Aberystwyth, who were happy to try and interact through the open window. Hope your stag do went OK mate! 😂👍.
Maybe more of the niceties we experience in other Indian restaurants wouldn't go amiss, such as a hot towel/choccy/after dinner shot of something, but overall a satisfactory experience.

This Indian restaurant is a gem, the staff were amazing, helpful,and quick to see that our meal was a evening to remember,
Starters we had onion bhaji not usually my go-to starter but wow these were not like your usual ball of greasy onion,these were so fresh and tasty, there was 3 good sized bhajis additionally we had chicken wings that came on a sizzling hot plate, again these were to die for.
For mains my wife had chicken tikka (dry) again came on a sizzling hot plate( see pic) not your normal looking tikka but delicious all the same, myself I had my usual medras to check the hotness as different indians can have one medras mild as kurma and another that will blow your mouth off, this was just right heat for a medras and full of flavour ,you could really taste the spices that had gone into making it, the naan bread was genuinely the crispy on outside fluffy in the middle by far the best naan bread i have EVER had, in fact the whole meal and experience there was probably the best I have had,and I have had a few.
Please give this a try, the reviews speak for themselves.

Had a lovely dinner with my family the other day. Staff is extremely friendly, food is delicious, definitely the best Indian food in Aberystwyth, especially Butter Chicken - finally had lots of chicken pieces in it (other Indian places give you 4 pieces of chicken in a curry which is silly). Loved nun breads, especially garlic one is bomb, and my partner loved his spicy vegetable dansak. Will definitely be back!! 😊

Came here tonight for dinner. Very very tasty food and fresh ingredients. Massive portions, you definitely get your monies worth! I LOVED the onion bhaji’s, and the garlic naan was to die for! the staff were very friendly and attentive and looked after us all very well.

There are also a lot of vegetarian options, 10/10 highly recommend. Thank you Aber Dining, I will be back :)

Writing this as I am in the Aberystwyth area for the weekend and we decided to order a delivery from this restaurant via a know food delivery app..

And I have to say, the food that we ordered was delicious and for sure we would order again when in the area..

Colours, tastes & textures were great..

From outside the eatery appeared very inconspicuous, almost lost in the high street.the closer we got the more we let our appetites and heart beat in unison .upon entering the smell and comfort of the ever loved curry smacked us in the chops like red rag to a bull . We were hungry we were excited , the popadom was approaching, we salivated and tucked in like a pack of lions on a fresh carcass . Our eyes locked we knew we were in for a treat . The plates were cleared the cobra was empty we eagerly awaited the main course , like a lighting bolt in a thunderstorm the mains hit the table , rice .naan bread , curry sauce , chips and the good old onion bahji adorned the table . The delights of India flooded through us like sunshine on a dismal day . We left full , happy ,stained on the corner of the mouth( in a good way ) and content with our dip into India . Thank you 👍

Shared an extended family meal to celebrate my daughters graduation. They fed 9 of us top quality food at the same time with great service and good value. Thank you!

We had 2 very good meals.
Butter Chicken and chicken masala both with various rice and peshwari naan. I like to eat but was beaten by the portion size. Great taste for all items.
