Special space where care and thought can be felt in every corner! The garden is just starting to wake up to spring, "not very happening" (to quote Laura :b), but there's a sense of hope in the waiting, sitting there and sharing a tiny moment of their growth. Lovely place for some quiet and a cup of tea (and delicious scone!), picking up a book (they have a lovely selection to buy) or simply enjoying the garden. Place to return to again and again! Thank you for creating this beautiful place xx

A beautiful walled garden, to wander around. Interesting and unusual plants alongside identifiable ones, always something different to look at. Healthy plant sales section and very knowledgeable staff that can discuss the plants.
A really nice Tearoom tucked away in the top corner of the garden, a good selection of cakes and beverages.only been twice so far but will return again and again. What a lovely find.

Amazing place it's now become one of my very favourite places.
The staff are very helpful in fact went out of their way for a plant I love the way they planted the wall garden so many different types I've not seen before ,delightful little tea shop with seating outside ,and the prices are pretty much lower than most garden centres ,oh and areas for wildlife too can't be bad.

The relaxed planting style and the clever choice of see-through perennials in this garden allows for some beautiful interactions in late summer. This is a skilful garden which combines the talents of the gardeners with the exuberance of plants which thrive in these conditions. Such a garden will not be found with conventional block planting layouts. The generous use of tall and late perennials such as Fennel, Rudbeckia subtomentosa, big grasses, Patrinia, Asters, Sanguisorba and Persicaria create a dreamy September gardenscape which I will dream of for many months to come. A stunningly good garden.

Such a special place, truly gorgeous array of flowers and plants. We have a lovely family lunch in the tea rooms and my daughter spent hours playing in and out of the path ways. Thank you

Wonderful place... couldn't recommend highly enough for those who are interested in unusual perennials and fresh ideas. It will be fascinating to watch this relatively new garden develop over time.

Food and service is superb.

I was just reflecting on our delightful summer visit this year with friends who have moved locally, tea in the sunshine then a beautiful meander through the gardens. A tonic on a dire December day. Good luck for net year. Des and Julie

A wonderful walled garden with a magnificent glasshouse. Laura and Jack are knowledgeable and the garden they have created from a wilderness is beautiful. Plants in the garden can be bought from their nursery and drinks, delicious cakes and quality gardening items are for sale in the cafe.

First time back after 18 months and how it has developed, not only has the planting established, but much more of the site has been planted and landscaped.
The tea shop is still there and has still got it's excellent service and food.
Overall it's a little oasis of calm and beauty.

This is a fine new venture with marvellous restored greenhouses in a huge historic walled garden, and an excellent bespoke tea room. Well worth a visit particularly for their superb scones, which are made with buttermilk. The owners may give you the recipe if you ask.

This was a really lovely discovery. Great plantings in small 'rooms' bounded by young hedge, exhibiting (and providing) the flowers in the nursery. The restored 1830 curvilinear greenhouses were also very interesting...

A beautiful garden, even in the winter, all the plants that had been left for winter interest looked just as beautiful in their own way as they do in the summer, a perfect mix of formal and informal planting, with a lovely tearoom to boost
