Ice Alpines

I ordered 6 plants in April and they were in fantastic condition, really carefully packed and all are already growing well in my bee friendly rockery and attracting solitary bees to use the bee ‘hotels’ I’ve sited nearby. So happy with these plants that I’ve ordered 19 more plants which just arrived today and are also all lovely and healthy.

Have been a bit sceptical of plants by post as they have turned up in the past a bit worse for wear.However I have to say I was really impressed when my alpines arrived . Every single one was very carefully wrapped and placed in the box with yet more protection . Must have taken ages to pack them all ! All the alpines are in very good condition and they’ve all got labels
displaying useful information which will be very helpful when I come to planting them .
Would definitely recommend this company if you’re thinking of buying alpines from them .

Just received my second order in a month! I'm over the moon with them! Well packaged to avoid damage. A fantastic selection of healthy looking plants with very well detailed labels. Very well priced too. Highly recommend and I will be back for more just as soon as I find more space in the garden!

Just wanted to say how fantastic the service is from Ice Alpines. I ordered the alpines for a trough collection, and they were packed so carefully and brilliantly and the plants themselves way exceeded my expectations - brilliant value for money. Have ordered twice (once each last year and this year). Very reasonable prices, excellent sustainable packaging, plants arrived promptly and in perfect condition. I have reused some of the packaging as starter containers for my runner beans!

Two beautiful penstemon pinifolius plants arrived through the post today. I have to say that these are the best “plug” plants I’ve ever seen- truthfully, a small well established plant that will no doubt grow away as soon as they are planted out. Packaging was excellent as was the service. A highly recommended seller who I will no doubt buy from soon!!!! Many, many thanks.

What amazing service. The plants were in excellent condition and good specimens and arrived quickly and were extremely well packed. How clever to use cardboard coffee cups to protect the plants from damage whilst in transit.

Definitely 5 star. The plants are the healthiest I have ever ordered by mail order. While communication was a little scant and despatch and delivery times need to be considered (but advised on site) - and slightly longer delay (a day or two tops) as to what would be expected this is made up for with the quality of the plants.
The plants themselves are also lovingly packaged by hand in mostly sustainable packaging.
It felt like you were purchasing from and supporting a small business.

Again, I have received the most beautiful, healthy variety of stunning little plants. Opening your very well wrapped parcel is like Christmas. The love you put into them is abundantly clear.

I ordered a small collection which were very reasonable price. The plants arrived promptly in a firm cardboard box. On opening the box I found the plants in perfect condition due to the fact that they had been so well and carefully packed. Each plant base was surrounded with wet newspaper and were covered with ?coffee cartons which protected the plant heads. The plants were of a good size and some were in flower. They will be a great addition to my rock garden. I certainly would not hesitate to recommend this nursery.

The plants arrived less than a week after I ordered. They were beautifully wrapped - each plant had a protective cup over the top of it then individually wrapped in paper. Also each plant had a collar of damp newspaper round the stem. Plants lovely and healthy and now sit on my patio table so that I can enjoy the evening scent.

Super service and constant updates about order and delivery. Plants arrived and we're so well packed, none were damaged. Great selection. Super excited to get them planted. Would definitely buy from again.
