Paul: employee of the month!

I came in badly needing a wiper for my car. The last one flew off due to unprofessional fitting by an official VW dealer in Dover.

Then I met Paul, friendly and eager to serve me with part and service.

He did it with utmost care not to brake or scratch my car. Although my car is a rarety in the UK, he looked at it, sourced the parts and installed them patiently and properly.

We recently purchased a mountain bike for my son and the whole experience was made very easy by the extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff member on the day. He spent a good deal of time helping my son select the best frame size, despite the fact that there were other customers milling around, and gave us a number of service and product options to consider, without being in any way pushy. The bike was ready to pick up, fully assembled a few days later, and a different member of staff was also extremely helpful on the day. Great service and a very nice bike to boot.

My son and I have just started riding bikes,I'm 52 and Alfie is 11.
We ate in Wimborne for our holiday and came across Halfords by mistake. I needed to get Alfie a helmet. We ended up being served by the lovely Scott.He was so helpful,kind and very knowledgeable.
We ended up getting padded shorts,lock,water bottle....plus the helmet.

Visited as local - to get tyre pressures checked as warning light came up.
All tyres under recommended PSI so inflated to correct pressures. Was offered a free 10 point check. Passed on all counts just with a washer bottle top up. Was served by Paul. Excellent customer service and clearly knowledgeable. Did also end up making a purchase. Have regularly used this branch for batteries, wipers, fluids etc. Service always good.

Came in looking for a spanner to fit a bolt on my car, was unsure on the size so i asked a member of staff (Ben) and he was very helpful, came out to my car with me and figured out what size i needed to save me buying the wrong size on accident. Very helpful and very happy with the customer service i was provided with

We had a new car stereo fitted, the staff were brilliant from the start, very friendly and helpful. We are very happy with the service and communication from Ferndown Halfords especially after we were turned away from the Halfords in Poole as we were told they were too busy to even book us a date for an assessment.

Very helpful member of staff who helped me with a purchase of new Windscreen wipers.
Checked the suggested wipers thought there was a problem with what had been suggested found the correct ones and came out to the car and double checked, fitted the rear wiper as well.

We had been served by Scott and Lee on Friday. These two were absolutely amazing 🤙 we needed to purchase two bikes for the Easter weekend and they couldn’t have been more helpful. We also had to attach a bike carrier to the back of our car… if it wasn’t for Lee the bikes might have ended up in the road. These two couldn’t have been anymore helpful, hard to find staff like them anymore.

I visited the Ferndown Hanford store this morning, to have two front headlamp bulbs fitted. This is a store that I have visited occasionally over the past twenty years. However, I was so impressed by the level of service I received today that this will be my ‘go to motor store’ in the future. From the moment I arrived at the front door, a member of staff working on another customers car, explained the procedure. I went to service payment cashier, he took details of my car and identified the required bulbs. He sent me outside to wait for Halford fitter who arrived with bulbs. In the past I have seen mechanics in Ford garages struggle changing the bulbs. The Halfords guy did it in minutes and was then happy to check out my wipers, tires and other lights. I then went inside and paid for the goods and fitting service. I interacted with three different Halford staff members, all were extremely helpful, pleasant without appearing false and really on top of their jobs. HALFORDS, the level of customer service you are providing in Ferndown store, needs to be bottled and shared across the country, not just Halfords, but retail stores in general. Many Thanks

We called in yesterday for a new drivers side headlight.
The chaps who we spoke to were very friendly and asked if we had had a lamp changed recently to which we hadn’t.
They advised that we had both lamps done being as that it usually meant when one goes the other goes soon after.
We haven’t had the car all that long (pre used) so we thought that advice would be good to heed.
Paul, the chap who carried out the work was friendly and thorough.
We have been into Halfords in Ferndown a few times for little jobs to be undertaken and always very brilliant service.
Would thoroughly recommend.

I turned up at Halford’s in Ferndown on Good Friday with a flat battery. accompanied by breakdown company in case I stalled en route. Halford’s replaced the battery with virtually no wait time and I was able to drive off within about 20 minutes. Very good cheerful service on a busy bank holiday. Would highly recommend.

I had a flat tyre after work some 10 miles from home ,limped to halfords ferndown,
Went to cycle shop upstairs and spoke to Adam
Not only did he remove my wheel old tube ,take out the nail from my tyre and replace the tube and pumped the tyre up ,refitted my wheel and only charged me for the tube ,
I have used bmth and Christchurch branches and not been too impressed
But this ferndown ,if all staff are like Adam is 5 stars 🌟 give the lad a pay Raise !!! He is a credit to the company

Excellent service, couldn’t have been more helpful.
Number plates provided including UK logo and fitted, headlight deflectors sorted (not straightforward), as well as the re-fitting of a hose brush o-ring (not straightforward).

Great service from Ollie at Ferndown after the online service desk told me that there was 1 available at the store but this was not the case, Ollie went to another Halford store and got me the hex set for next day. Really grateful to him as I needed the tool to get my brakes done.

Had my nextbase dash cam refitted into new car by Ben . What a really helpful and nice young man. Did a really neat job thankyou Ben. Other staff I spoke to also helpful and friendly.

This Purchase was to enable me to remove Front Brake Disc Assy and replace it with a new part. All went so easy that I feel it was due to this easy to use tool, assisting in the whole work.

Popped into Halfords Ferndown for antifreeze.
I was served by a very helpful chap who found the right one for my car and gave me very useful advice.

Amazing service. Really helpful staff. I would specifically mention Adam, young lad who was very pleasant to speak to and was extremely helpful. Made me feel really comfortable. Halfords, Ferndown is lucky to have him working for them.

Ben was extremely helpful with my car check !! Explained everything to me and sorted it all out - thank u ben also the young lad at the till I think his name was adam? adim? Was lovely and helped me with finding the right rear wiper blade lovely staff at Halfords ferndown x
