Wickes Nottingham Central

Today I went looking for some plastic roof covering and I wasn't disappointed I came to this store.
I drive a large truck towing a plant trailer and found there was ample space in the car park for me to park.
The store is set out in an easy to use way, and the checkout was very quick.
I would happily visit this shop again in the future.

We got everything we needed and the staff were very helpful I'm disabled and I bought play sand because it was quite heavy the man on checkout came round and scanned it save me picking it up

We went looking for a toilet seat and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Absolutely joyful shopping here. ☺☺

Just went to Wickes to buy some DIY tools and Luke was an absolute chap. He was really helpful and quite knowledgeable too. Took me through a range of different things to consider when buying tools. 11/10 would recommend Luke to any one who wants to know more about products before buying.

Very good experience, we couldn't find some mouldings but Christian (I think his name was) patiently found what we were after and then walked with us to the counter and took payment. Really good customer service.

I do prefer a B&Q to this company as I feel they have more choice. But I cannot fault the helpfulness of staff here who went out of their way in order to find a rare product I was after. They did not sell it in the end but I was so grateful that they did not give up until they helped me to know where I could find it. This is excellent customer service. Also it does not seem to be too busy which is actually a bonus for customers who go around with a great big flatbed trolley. The space available when going to the tills though is quite limited I found, but this is a minor adjustment required.

Always have what I want and always the cheapest

We accompanied my mother-in-law here to help her choose a new kitchen because we'd had ours from this branch (Nottingham, Queen's drive) about 12 years ago and have been very happy with it.
We didn't expect to be able to see anyone straight away to plan it but Dale slotted us in there and then and went through everything so thoroughly we decided we didn't need to go elsewhere. He got the sale.
Dale said he'd come out himself to check the measurements and room specifics, which he did, and again was very attentive to what my m-in-law wanted instead of trying to tell us how he would do it like one rep did when we were doing ours (note to Dolphin rep - I don't care how many awards you've got or how trendy the design is, if we don't like it we aren't buying it).

Very happy with the service thus far, Dale has been great and if the installation service is as good as the design and sales service then we'll be well chuffed.

Also found staff and management to be helpful but not overly annoying. Very stock knowledgeable.

Ended up after few weeks of researching using wickes for our kitchen. We used their recommended fitters and very happy with the result.

You can't do everything online. That's why Wickes is so good - you can get what you need when you want it. The click n collect service is great, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The huge range of timber products is so better than anywhere else.

Went here to discuss a kitchen fitting. A really professional approach from design to finance. Everything is taken care of. I will reserve judgement on the actual stuff, until it is fitted, but if judging by the examples in store, I expect it will be decent quality stuff.

I don't go in often however I always have great treatment from the staff.
I ordered a large metal garden gate. The gentleman that dealt with me took me through the order and delivery process as I didn't feel confident ordering on line. Thank you

I've visited a couple of times recently. The website is great as it shows what your local store has in stock. The click and collect system works very well and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

Arrived to collect some preordered materials, all ready and staff helped load up the van. Plenty of stock and variety of building material and staff help full not alway knowledgeable but plenty of staff normally

Always a Wickes close by with good parking

More staff knowledge would be good or employ some retired builders etc

I entered needing some boiled linseed oil and once I'd found it I began mooching, as one does. A delightfully friendly gentleman caught my eye and we exchanged pleasantries. He enquired as to the bottle I was carrying, immediately divining it to be linseed oil despite my brutish grip obscuring most of the label. He kindly and politely explained that linseed oil is combustible and, whilst taking great pains to be clear he meant no disrespect, advised that I be careful as he directed me to the cloths and wipes section of the shop. A delightful exchange that ought to be held as an exemplar of customer service and what the sociologists call genuine human interaction.
