Lovely place to stop off for cake and coffee during a walk. Some unusual shops, ice cream parlour, very pretty spot by the river and mill.

Very picturesque and well appointed. Some wonderful shops, bars, restaurants and seating. Lovely old Mill parts visible and working. Took a nice walk and did some shopping. Aside from 1 member of staff in a little shop near the tea room everyone was lovely and cheerful, offering great conversation and service. The spirit of the green man shop was like a chunk of Glastonbury magic and I purchased a few beautiful and well priced items there, the gent that runs it is very nice, friendly and helpful

Delicious food, beautifully cooked and presented. Lovely, helpful staff make you feel most welcome. Beware, the portion sizes are very generous so make sure you bring a hearty appetite when you visit!
Highly recommended.

Quirky little shop with lots of lovely, unique, handmade gifts. Purchased a beautiful birthday card embedded with flower seeds which can then be planted in the garden.

Some really pretty areas to sit and enjoy your surroundings with grass area for picnics, seating benches, pretty pond, water mill that comes on every hour or so and several craft and gift shops where you can find yourself a treat. There were also places to buy food and drinks that seemed popular with the tourists. Visit the gift shop dewn by the mill, the owner is really friendly and she sells some amazing glass art (look downstairs to see a huge range of gifts)

Such a beautiful picturesque place. It is a 5 - 10 minute walk from Tintern Abbey, or a 1 minute drive. There is a parking lot and lovely views of the River wye.
There is a tea room, three shops and an art gallery on site. Plus beautiful views, plenty of seating and seeing the large water mills in action.
Definitely worth a visit whatever the weather. Also, it's dog and muddy boot friendly :D

Lovely old watermill. Lots to see.. and eat! Great coffee, and my nephew loved his appel strudel! Nice service from friendly and attentive staff. And as a bonus, dog friendly too.

A little surprise find. Looking for a quick spot to eat, having done a long 3 hour walk in the morning. The pictures don't do justice, but very close to the old Abbey, great COVID considerations, well managed and controlled. Had a tasty fresh baked baguette, and a cuppa each. However, if you have time, the pies looked and sounded delicious. Parking on site tough, but public parking a short walk. Worth a visit

Its a lovely little place to sit with a cup of coffee or some lunch. There are a few quaint little shops that are well worth a browse too. The view is gorgeous if you manage to catch the weather just right.
