Great community run pub. We had drinks and some gorgeous sticky toffee pudding with custard. Visit the church next door ( with one of the oldest wooden bell towers in England) which has a great cafe and shop, again run by community volunteers. Lovely place and people.

Lovely community run pub, There was a staff shortage when we went but Vivian, Dave and Lesley were amazing, although rushed off their feet they still took time to make you feel welcome and provided a fantastic service with a smile. The food was amazing and the chef was lovely, we should also mention the pot washer as the whole team were fantastic.

A wonderful Sunday lunch today. Tender beef, fresh not over cooked vegetables, and really tasty gravy. Truly homemade pud too. The atmosphere was relaxing, fresh, and friendly. Will definitely be going back.

What a great find, a rainy day, started at Croft Castle, then thought how about a pub lunch!
Certainly not disappointed, great atmosphere and so very friendly. The meal was all home made and delicious, we were spoilt from entry to exit, plus some free entertainment from our talented chef keeping our son amused with a little trick he demonstrated. When we are this way, sure to be back again, good luck and well done to the village of Yarpole.
Oh and dog friendly! Child friendly! Plus well catered for Gluten Free diet 👍👍👍

Lovely pub. Should have been better attended by the locals as it is a community run pub. The gardens were beautiful with plenty of seating. Didn't try food this time but it looked lovely. The chef was excellent in that someone had an issue with being lactose intolerant and he personally asked what he could do for them! Now that was exceptional.

We were staying in Green Lane Yarpole for a long weekend, we wanted to eat at the Bell as it was only a 2 minute walk from the bungalow we were renting and managed to get a booking for Saturday evening. Our table was ready for us when we arrived for our booking at 7pm. Our waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed delicious starters including Squab Pigeon from France and mains included Sirloin and brisket steak and venison. With Lemon meringue with poppyseed to finish. This lovely community restaurant pub in the quiet village of Yarpole deserves every support when visiting this beautiful part of the UK.

Visited The Bell on Thursday 15th August. The welcome was warm and friendly, the range of beers was great and the food was delicious. We'll find our way back there without a doubt even though we live 180 miles from Yarpole.

Charming friendly staff (volunteers in this community pub) good choice of well kept Ludlow and Wye Valley ale. Quality wines.
Some menu items not available on our visit, we enjoyed the food, which we would describe as good quality pub food.

Very family orientated. Catered for 4 year old in our party very well. Good portioned starters and sweets, could have done with a bit more meet on the main.

We had a dessert which was exceedingly good. It was also a peaceful place to have an overnight stay in their carpark too. 😊🌈

Went to the Italian themed menu night on Saturday. Great food, antipasti was amazing and main course both chicken and vegetarian option was very tasty. Pub is now being run by volunteers, who are serving the food and drink. Great atmosphere, very friendly, pub was full. Will definitely return.
