Literally a hidden gem! A rather vast and spectacular literary crowned with a classic historical museum and a photo gallery. Certainly worth a visit.

Just the best..... I am currently doing some #Ancestral #Research as my 40x Great Grandfather was #RichardFitzScrob,
French Nobility and founder of Richards Castle, located on the South Shropshire / North Herefordshire border, we've been bodyguards (Royal Cavalry) to King Edward II and then we fought against him, alongside William I (The CoNqUeRoR) to defeat him at the Battle Of Hastings..... Helped build the round chapel (St Mary Magdalena) at @LudlowCastle as Knights Templars and then helped Robert The Bruce defeat the English at the Battle of Bannockburn..... Crusaders through and through..... So I'm on a bit of a personal "Davinci Code" / Holy Grail hunt, and do I have more questions than answers..... Ludlow Library is chocked full of HiSToRiCaL Information available nowhere else..... The staff are first class, friendly, knowledgeable and always first port of call with any of my latest enquiries..... 🙏🏻🤗🤓🧐❤ #InSearchOfJesusInEngland #BravoLudlowBravo Now where did I put that #HolyGrail..... 🤭🤭🤭

I have no hesitation to recommend. The staff are warm, friendly and helpful. The library is well stocked, well-organised and well run. A wonderful local resource. Thank you.

In terms of its size relative to the size of Ludlow this building is very impressive. Luckily its modernistic design is tucked out of the way sufficiently enough not to clash with the Stuart and Georgian theme along most of the main street area. Well worth a visit if you are interested in local studies.

Excellent library, massive selection of books, free Internet usage for 1 hour, printing, nice airy building, staff are extremely helpful & very polite. Highly recommended
