Delighted this place is open again, with new ownership. (It was closed when we were here in December).
Enjoyed a reasonably priced drink in a fabulous old, historical & characterful pub. The new landlord was friendly and we will happily return.

Lovely supper. I'm a very plain eater so I had a lovely jacket potatoes and tweaked the menu to have turkey with it and salad. Very kind Rosie for doing that. Will return.

A little gem of a pub. Very nice period interior and really nice pint. The sort of pub that I wish was my local. The new landlord is nice fella that was generous with the dog biscuits.
Thoroughly recommend 😁 🍺

A brilliant traditional pub set within a quiet village in Norfolk that we return to year on year on holiday. The landlady and staff were all very helpful and attentive and I highly recommend this place as a friendly pub and great place to eat. Dog friendly and family friendly too. Just superb!

Two nights here last week, we had a great stay. Good owner and team and a great breakfast each morning. By chance the restaurant wasn't open the two night we were there (Sun/Mon) but no doubt the food would have been great based on the great breakfasts we had. The room was comfortable and the location is obviously perfect for Walsingham but lots to do all around. We were on a rest day on a 9 days Norfolk cycle tour and the train to Wells and the local bus service, even on a Sunday, were just outside the pub door. All very good.

Stayed for the night. Room good size and bed comfortable. Staff very polite and friendly. Greeted by Ashley who gave us the procedure of what to do incase of a fire. This was pleasing to know as most hotels just expect you to read the literature in the room. Please to know safety comes first. Well done to Angela for outstanding service and a lovely breakfast would come again.

Delicious food, welcoming and calm atmosphere, wonderful quaint decor, just fabulous. I had the sausage and mash and it was lush, my friend had the mushroom risotto and that was also delicious. Would highly recommend. Just what you need after a visit to see the snowdrops.

Absolutely fabulous overnight stay. Staff were mega accommodating especially with my brother in law who has recently been poorly and has difficulty eating. They couldn't have been more caring. Rooms clean, warm and comfortable with plenty of character. We stayed there to enable easy access to Thursford Christmas Spectacular. We had a great time with lovely food and will definitely return next November. It was one of the best weekends we've had.

Great place to say and full of character. Staff make your stay enjoyable and well worth a visit. I stopped in single room with shared bathroom but at £45 for the night well worth it.

Evening meal in the bar reasonably priced and good sized portions. Breakfast selection including full English which is cooked to order was good and got the day off to a good start.

Will visit again and built in the 1700's if you want and old world experience in the heart of beautiful village then this is your place.

A great place to stay while in Norfolk. The Black Bull is a beautiful old pub with great staff and a friendly landlord. We had a happy 3 days - breakfast was lovely, room was quirky and very comfortable. Highly recommended. Oh and the beer was delicious!!

We visited this lovely pub and restaurant just after we had finished at the Shrine of our lady of Walsingham and what a treat. The bangers and mash was brilliant, good selection of drinks, great customer service and nice chilled out vibe. Will now be our go-to place every time we visit.

Fantastic welcome from the minute I walked in to a busy, super friendly bar and was shown up to a very clean room by Greg. Scrubbed up in the spacious bathroom then back to the bar for a perfect locally made pie and some of the best Guinness I’ve tasted. The attentive, professional yet still totally relaxed atmosphere created by Greg, Shakira and the team pervades the whole feel of the Bull. That inevitably led to chats with other guests well into the evening. That continued this morning over a delicious but very relaxed, locally sourced and freshly cooked breakfast that ended up lasting two hours. Lucky they were equally relaxed about check out times. All in all a wonderful overnight solo stay that felt like a proper holiday with friends. Can’t wait to get back for another visit as soon as I can and I can’t recommend The Bull highly enough.
As an aside Little Walshingham is an unexpectedly fascinating and storied place too.

This is the best pub in North Norfolk, no exceptions. It manages that almost impossible task of remaining a proper local, rural pub in look and feel but with contemporary standards of food and service. All in a stunning location, its so good I seriously considered writing a shocking review to put people off but the team who have made this special place definitely don't deserve that. It's a gem!! 5 Stars

There are so few good old fashioned pubs left. We were so pleased to have found one. Food was wholesome, plentiful and reasonably priced and yet that says nothing for the flavours which were perfect for a cold day out. Mash potatoes the way you might prepare them at home with butter and milk. The house pie was so well stuffed that so were we. Thank you Jenni, your pub got a further visit from us later the same week.

Wow - what a lovely place. Just popped in for a hot chocolate whilst visiting Little Walsingham but what a wonderful looking pub/inn in a truly beautiful location. One I will be adding to the list of places to stay - really good hot chocolate too!

First time to visit this cute, oldy worldy pub tucked away in the little village of Walsingham. We love the atmosphere, the drinks, the food and the service! Definitely a 5 ⭐ place and going to come back again next summer when we go for our annual pilgrimage to Walsingham!

Nice, in a great location.
Quick service and friendly staff.
Sat in the garden with table service so can't comment on the pub.
Enjoyed the visit and would definitely come back again.
