So delighted to have found Just Be Kind and Arielle who has been so supportive and helpful in transitioning me to a plant based diet for my pet Haggis. I have been vegetarian almost vegan for nearly 7 years and now I know that Haggis my border terrier can get all the nutrients he needs for a healthy lifestyle in a diet which is purely plant based this for me has been perfect to adhere to my ethics on helping change the way we feed ourselves and our pets. Lots of prepared foods available, recipes to make and advice on ideal vegetables and supplements to add.

This is a great food for any dogs but it is especially good for my allergy prone rescue, who is allergic to all animal based protein including fish. It helped her have 3 months off her meds although the pollen of spring/summer made her itchy again. Its full of goodness and both my dogs love it, both wet and dry kibble from this lovely caring website. I am so glad to have found this, and the caring vet who developed this gave me the confidence to try it.

All our dogs have transitioned to plant based, including our new 6 month old and are thriving. Arielle has been so supportive throughout the journey and the dogs love Give a Dog a Bean tinned food.

18 months ago Arielle very kindly sent me a tin of Solo Vegetal to try and it changed our lives for the better. Bruno thankfully now has a very happy life without any sickness and skin problems. Arielle works tirelessly to educate vets and pet owners about the benefits of vegan dog food and is clearly passionate about animal welfare. Sadly, most veterinary practices in the UK are affiliated with a commercial pet food brand and benefit financially from selling food that is harmful to our animal companions.

I haven't bought the food but I got advices by doctor Arielle on what to feed my dog Caramelo to keep him healthy after I learned, two years ago, that he has kidney sensitivity.

So delighted I spoke with Arielle this evening about my diabetic labrador. Arielle was so informative about the changes I needed to make so that Arthur was on the best vegan diet for his health. I couldn't recommend a consultation more highly. Arielle has made the transition to a plant based diet for Arthur so much easier & provided so much positive encouragement with my management of his diabetes.

As long term ethical vegans (over 30 yrs) we’d been attempting to transition our two greyhounds onto a plant based diet for around two years, unfortunately we had no success with any of the commercially available dog foods that we tried. We continued to search for foods and found the wonderful Dr Arielle Griffiths and her company Just Be Kind Dog food - the best thing that has ever happened for us and for our dogs! We’ve never looked back, it’s now been almost 4 years and their health has improved massively, increased energy levels, beautiful coats, dry skin has resolved……most importantly they love their food. We transitioned our dogs onto a plant based diet overnight and continue to feed them a combination of home cooked food plus Solo Vegetal, sometimes we replace our home cooked food with Hownd or Give A Dog A Bean which they both love! Dr Arielle is the most approachable and helpful person and always willing to share her knowledge, we can’t recommend her highly enough and have done so to our vets and to many friends - anyone who’ll listen 😊 I should add that another favourite food for our greyhounds is Fleetful , they particularly love Mighty Millet and Quinoa and this is so easy to prepare as a home cooked recipe👍

My 13 year old dog has been eating a plant based diet for a year now. He was slightly overweight (32kg instead of 29kg), had problems with his anal glands and was beginning to struggle with his joints. He is now his ideal weight, no longer requires a supplement for his glands, and his joints are good for a 13 year old boxer/staffie. He absolutely loves Give a Dog a Bean (he dances, boxer style) and the Gold Dust has had an amazing impact on his physical health and energy levels. Can't thank you enough.

Just be Kind and Vegan vet Arielle are amazing.... Feeding my dog vegan was easy with her support. I cook for my dog and supplement with high quality vegan dry food from Just be Kind. They are an amazing small dedicated team, super efficient and extremely helpful... Be kind to other animals and the environment and try feeding your dog vegan. You may be surprised to find out that our dogs don't need to eat meat and animal foods to thrive. My dog is a very healthy weight, no skin issues and has bright eyes and a soft, soft coat... She gobbles her food up.

My large 36kg greyhound ADORES this food! In fact I have to work out a way to slow him down eating it!! Thank you to Just Be Kind Vegan dog food...a delight to see him enjoy it so much!! And keeping his beautiful muscular body!!

I cannot thank this company enough for the help, support and amazing products they offer! We have been on a rollercoaster journey with our dog Bear due to extreme allergies and various other health conditions, balancing his diet has not been easy!

We have used both the Solo Vegetal and Give A Dog A Bean with Bear and they worked wonders for him. Unfortunately he experienced further health issues which caused us to trial the Green Crunch and again it has truly been amazing for him. We cannot fault the products as they have given Bear the best chance at a full and happy life by balancing his allergies.

I recently trialled the Gold Dust along with the Algae oil that I give my girls with a 9 year old 40 kg English Bull dog that I look after who was struggling to lift his back legs to pee and go up and down the stairs. On day 12 of taking them I noticed a big change in him. He was far more confident going up and down the stairs, lifting his back legs high again to pee and walking a lot faster on walks which made me so happy to see him moving pain free and comfortable .
He also has lots of skin allergies so it great to be able to give him a product that has natural ingredients is perfect.
I had previously trialled him with Yumove senior tablets and saw no difference!

Rolo has been eating Solo Vegetal to supplement his home cooked vegan meals for years now and it’s lovely. All the dogs in our local park make a bee line as they get them as a treat on their walks. Since time is short I have transitioned from home cooked to mostly Solo Vegetal with the added tinned food, Give a dog a Bean. Rolo loves it all, he is now 7 years old and very strong and healthy. 17 year old Harley, a Parsons Fox Terrier has arthiritus and some senility, he is also partially. blind and hard of hearing, he is having his daily dose of Omega 3 oil and Gold Dust supplement, his sking and heart are strong and he is in less pain, we believe these supplements are making his life more comfortable. We rescued Jessie Grace from Romania. She is a Lucas Terrier, adult (7-8 years) . Arrived in a pretty bad way after living on the streets & travelling 4 days in a van with 20 other rescues. So far she has been 3 months on whole food plant based food. She is much calmer and eats all her food morning & night. Also enjoys the biscuits during the day. Her coat is softer, doesn’t smell either. I make some of her food according to Arielle’s recipe, also buy the tins & biscuits. Very grateful for this advice & these products.
