Ball Gown Heaven

As soon as I got there the welcoming we received was warm and welcoming. The experience of picking the perfect prom dress was made so easy and enjoyable. Adrian and Sandra knew what dress sizes and shapes would be perfect for my body type and to my surprise they were correct. The put other shops to shame with how they go about their experiences with a quick debrief of what I wanted and then they used that information to pick dresses out for me instead of letting me go round and selecting. They pushed me out of my comfort zone to show me how to be more confident in myself and not to be so restricted in what I want. There was no pressure into selecting a dress and there’s definitely a dress for every style. The jokes and laughs shared on the day will be something to remember making it an overall amazing experience and would definitely go back if I ever needed another dress.

Simply THE BEST. Adrian Sandra and their team at Ballgown Heaven are so very helpful and welcoming. We had the best time trying on the dresses....the customer service is absolutely brilliant before and after buying ...no pressure to choose quickly.....they just wanted to make sure we chose the right dress. They have so many dresses to choose from across all budgets colours and styles. Highly recommended..definitely worth a trip to Uppingham to see them.

I took my daughter for her prom dress today. She's a very self conscious 16yr old who had extensive surgery for scoliosis 3yrs ago and who didn't have much idea about what she wanted. She was dreading this. Adrian put her at ease immediately and he was well helped by the lovely Niamh. The appointment was not rushed and my daughter was able to try on plenty of dresses. There was no pushy sales pitch and thanks to their wonderful support my daughter chose a beautiful dress for her prom. We can't thank them enough and would highly recommend!

I took my daughter here today to find her a prom dress and they were beyond helpful. They picked out a range of dresses to try within our 1hour 30min appointment and made her feel so comfortable in the process. They had great service and were so helpful to find her the perfect dress. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a prom dress. Just consider any alterations will need to be done elsewhere but I honestly can't fault them. Wow what an amazing experience from Ballgown Heaven. I called late on Saturday evening and managed to get a cancellation for the next day. From the moment we opened the door we were met with an extremely friendly and warm welcome. I felt like we had know Adrian and Sandra for year. They certainly know their stuff! My daughter had no idea what style, colour or size she needed, but that didn’t matter. We looked at lots of dresses and ended up choosing the first dress my daughter tried on. I can’t recommend these guys enough. No pushy selling techniques. Fantastic service from start to finish. I hope they are still going when my youngest daughter needs a dress in 10 years. Just been in to buy my daughters dress for prom. What an amazing service. We were met by Adrian who quickly put my daughter at ease. Wow cannot express how helpful this lovely team are, great welcome from everyone. Moira was amazing with my Twins and they felt very at ease. Both came away with stunning dresses and very happy. Adrian was so funny and got them both down to a tee on colours and sizes of dresses they would choose. The best dress shop I have ever been to and would highly recommend to anyone.

You can't fail to find the perfect dress here! Adrian and his ladies are friendly and welcoming. They are experts at making you feel comfortable and suggesting styles and materials you may not have thought of and you never know what it will look like until you try it on! A HUGE stock of dresses to try. For any 'occasion' dress a visit is a must!!

It's nerve wracking walking into a shop when you want your daughter to feel like a princess but you don't have an unlimited budget. But I was fine at Ballgown Heaven. The staff were great, in particular Adrian and the young lady who was helping him.

Adrian picked out the most beautiful dresses for my daughter to try. He was funny and engaging and also honest and he really knew his dresses.

The shop had 2 floors of gowns, with every colour and style imaginable.

Adrian was discreet about my budget and helped to ensure that the dresses that we tried on were the ones that matched my affordability without my daughter even realising. She came away with the most beautiful gown and I'm a happy mum.

Visited at the weekend and was so impressed with the choice of dresses available. Great service, super helpful and felt at ease. Very pleased with my dress 5*

Firstly we made an appointment and was made to feel so welcome. Adrian made my daughter and her friend feel at ease straight away. Sandra was so accommodating selecting dresses of the rails of what would suit. It was lovely having the nice old banter back giggling all the way through our appointment. Nothing was too much trouble.
Returning to collect “the dress” What can I say. Another 5🌟plus rating from us. Been and collected Annies prom dress from Ball Gown Heaven. Adrian and Sandra went above and beyond yet again to make sure Annie was happy with her dress. She tried it on, as was ordered in, just to make sure everything was perfect and it was, not rushed, time taken in Annies time. Thank you once again guys, you’ve made another girl happy. I brought my eldest here 3 years ago & the team gave her an amazing time, making her feel special. Yesterday I again brought my other daughter & Adrian, Sandra & moira made her feel very welcome & were very patient. We bought a beautiful dress & the prices were good too unlike some other shops!!

Was feeling a little apprehensive about dress shopping but both owners were so lovely and welcoming that i was put at ease immediately. They really took time to get to know me and what I was looking for and found the most perfect matches! We had a magical afternoon shopping for Prom for our daughter Emily and her friend.
Not long after we walked in we were met by the owner who greeted us and established our budget. The customer service he delivered made the occasion very special, hand choosing dresses within budget he believed would suit best. We were there 2.5 hours, tried on several dresses and came out very happy with a stunning gown. Thanks to all who assisted, especially to niamh in the changing room.

Absolutely fantastic place. Was seen by amazing friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have a brilliant selection of prom/ evening dresses. They put my daughter at ease listened to what she wanted gave great advice etc. Wouldn't go anywhere else well worth my 1 hour drive there.
