Surrey Arts

This is the main office for Surrey arts. The office is always busy and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. They run music lessons, dance groups, choir, and orchestras. They have a very good special needs orchestra called UP which means unlimited potential. This is held on a Saturday every 2 weeks at the Bridge Centre leatherhead from 11.00 to 13.00. The group is open to all children of mixed abilities. They put concerts on in many different places such as the Royal Albert Hall, the Olympic Park, Glasgow ISME music festival to name a few. Their next concert will be at Brooklands Museum in July 2018.

There is also a special needs choir called Just so singers which are held every Wednesday 15:30 to 16:30 at Carwarden house school Camberley they do concerts to, regularly in conjunction with UP. They have sung with VOCES8, most recently filmed by ITV Meridian as part of a documentary.

Music teachers are very dedicated and go out of their way to help the children learn new skills and new instruments.

Absolutely amazing service. I used Surrey Art many years ago for my son and again recently to find adult music lessons. Very helpful, responsive and supportive. I would give more stars if I could. Thank you so much, I'm very appreciative .
