Grove Villa Holiday Home

Grove villa was the perfect place to stay and has a real home away from home feel. The views are stunning, beds are comfy, kitchen is very well equipped, hosts were helpful and informative over message, and the rooms are cosy yet there was plenty of space for our group of 12 adults. We will definitely be coming again!

We had a wonderful holiday at Grove Villa. Three generations enjoyed the comfort of this spacious, well equipped house and its lovely grounds all beautifully tended. Great views of the Black Mountains from the living room (the start of the walk/climb nearby). The games room and most especially the trampoline was a great hit with the grandchildren. Hay on Wye is within easy reach and the local pub serves excellent food. We hope to come back next year.

A great home from home - highly recommended, especially for large groups and families. The location is stunning, the atmosphere - homely, and there is everything children need to run around and let off steam - a games room, a trampoline, swings and more. All in all, a fantastic family base for exploring the subtle beauty of the Black Mountains. And just a mile away from a sensational pub/restaurant in Craswall.

I've rented Grove Villa multiple times over the past fifteen years for short holidays with friends and family. It's a magical place and we are frequently up early to scale the nearby hill before a lazy brunch in Hay-on-Wye. In the summer the garden is perfect for lazy home days, the kitchen table big enough for big group meals, and the 'snug' fire room toasty warm in the winter. The hosts are lovely to deal with. We've made so many happy memories - I can't recommend highly enough.

Glorious holiday spent here below the Black Mountains with a group of friends. The sequence of spaces is really charming- big farmhouse kitchen table for feasts, cosy sitting room for fires, and big social space which really enjoyed spending the afternoons reading in. Made good use of the beautiful garden and games room.

Had such a great time staying here - the surroundings are incredibly beautiful, the house itself is both comfortable, cosy and also accommodates many guests with a gorgeous garden. Very stress free process to check in and to check out, hosts really helpful. Would highly recommend!

I have been lucky enough to stay at Grove Villa twice and it is the nicest holiday home I have stayed at in the UK. The house is beautiful, characterful and comfortable and the surrounding scenery and walks are breathtaking. Highly recommended!

I stayed for 4 days with my family and had a wonderful time. The hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive. We particularly loved the grounds and felt very much at home. Would recommend it and we will definitely be coming back :)

Beautiful and serene house set in glorious countryside. What more could we want for our getaway escape from all things urban. This is the place if you want to relax and revive with family and friends.

This is an amazing house. It was fab for families with a great trampoline and beautiful outside space providing hours of fun for the kids. We will definitely be back!
