Jumping Ships

I am so happy to find this lovely company. It’s so brilliant to be able to choose the fabric, length, neckline and sleeve type. So many beautiful colours to choose from. I even enquired about a totally different type of dress that I’ve been looking for years, and within a week it’s been made for me!! Incredibly impressed and I’m now a firm customer, and a very happy one at that. Thank you again 😀

I visited Jumping Ships last week whilst on hol. I ordered a Jasmine dress and it was delivered to my home address. It was PERFECT, beautifully made and tailored to my requirements, a superb bonus and a rarity these days. I love the fact that the dress is made from organic cotton and locally made in Leominster, eco friendly to say the least. Gaynor advised me re: size, length etc and intuitively understood what I wanted. I'm delighted with the quality and fit, in a nutshell its PERFECT. The clothes are high quality, well made, good materials and so cute. This was the first time I've ordered and will definitely do again!

What's not to like? Organic cotton leggings and tops. Tall options, PLUS a chance to have more tailor made sizing. Such easy to wear clothes. Hallelujah! (I'm 58,size 18/20 38' inside lwg, 6ft 4)

Great choice of clothes, all so different from major chains. Amazing value. Made locally, high quality and always the option of making it personally ( longer arm length etc).

A business I would not recommend engaging with.
I ordered a pair of orange cord extra long trousers online in November 2023.
To start with I felt the trousers had been made without quality in mind, there were lots of loose threads, uneven stitching and a large hole in the pocket. They were definitely longer than I was expecting (which I'd usually get a tailor to fix if I liked them) and the material, though organic, was much thinner and not as stiff as expected.
After asking for advice on how to return the trousers (faulty because large hole in pocket) I received what came across as an abrupt and evasive responses so returned using recorded mail. I'm very glad I did as after having the confirmed return of the parcel I received no communications. I eventually emailed 4 times and sent 3 Instagram messages over 4 weeks with no response. I had to write a formal letter including my consumer rights and a response deadline before receiving a confirmation of my pending refund for the trousers. The business continue to refuse to contribute to any of the postage costs incurred (leaving me nearly £15 out of pocket). Something I believe most people would expect from any ethical company when returning a faulty item.
I'd usually find a way to give leeway to promote a business that provides longer length clothing as a woman with a 36ins leg. But because of my terrible experience with poor and rude communications which wasted a lot of my own time, and what I perceive as poor item quality, I'm very disappointed to say I would not recommend engaging in business with Jumping Ships.

Love the product, but as there was no washing instruction label in the dress, appears they cut it off with overlooking. I'm hoping they send it to me through the post. I will then repost with five stars.
