Saltrock Whitstable

What a brilliant shop! Spent a few days in Whitstable recently, and were drawn in by the colourful displays. Bought quite a few things, assisted by the two amusing lady assistants! Then we had to go back in and buy a holdall to carry it all home in. Lovely!

Saltrock is one of my favourite brands of clothing.
Dropped in for a browse today and bought a hat.
My wife and I had a lovely chat with the extremely friendly and helpful member of staff.
A great shopping experience!

Saltrock Whitstable, what a fantastic team that run the shop.

For my wife, I bought her a top and tried to get the matching retro shorts. Not having any luck on the website, I called the store. The sales team went out of their way to help. They instantly knew what item of clothing I was after, found the size and then went out of their way to locate the item in a closer store for me to collect.

It transpired that the the other stores did not have the item, so, to save me the trouble of doing a 150 mile round trip, they went the extra mile and posted the shorts to me.

Now that's customer service for you. The store team that actually cares and in this day and age it tells you alot about the town and the people who live there. The team are fantastic.

Great clothes and very reasonably priced for this day and age. Would love to see more stores around Kent.

Came in today with my husband and 3 children for a casual browse and possible undecided purchase. The sales lady watched us like a hawk, not in a friendly manor but also doing her job but in a incredibly rude way which made my husband and I feel very uncomfortable to the point we left. Every time I looked around and caught her eye she was looking at us and our children and our bags. She didn’t ask if we needed assistance or assure us that if we needed any assistance she would be happy to help. She didn’t say a word to us. Just very uncomfortably locked her eyes on us and followed us around, from the second we walked in to the second we frustratingly and abruptly left. It made us feel judged, like she thought “scum, I better watch these folk” we will not be coming back into this store!
