Charlotte's Chocolatier & Café

We visited Charlotte's chocolatier for ice cream and was very happy with the selection on offer.
The price was fair and I was happy with the service we received.
The chocolates behind the counter all looked amazing and would have liked to have stayed for chocolates and coffee, but sadly, we had other things to do.

This shop is placed in a delightful arcade of unique shops. It has a range of hand made chocolates and sweets. It had Ruby and white chocolates which are my favourites. It also has a cafe area with seating outside.

Visiting this beautiful cafe was one of the highlights to our holiday in the Peak District, we loved it so much we came back again the next day for the hot chocolate!
During our two visits we sampled the cakes, dark hot chocolate (which I highly recommend for a real chocolate lover especially with soya milk) crumpets and of course the delicious chocolates everything was delightful and perfect I couldn't recommend the attentive and happy staff, food or atmosphere more😁

We always call to buy some delicious hand made chocolates here. They are all so good we struggle to decide what to have so end up with some of most of them! They serve tea and coffees inside and outside as well as their delicious chocolates.

Great chocolates travel an hour by car to get here and well worth it. If you want real chocolates go here. Also a coffee shop so you can have the best of both worlds with great cakes too.

Great coffee, amazing desserts and very friendly staff. Definitely will go back if I'm in Buxton again.

Small but cosy inside but mire seating out the front where you can watch the world go by. Cakes very tasty. Chocolates are delicious and made on the premises. A very good selection and a reasonable price. I bought Chocolates for a present and gad them gift wrapped for an extra £1. The recipient was very happy with the gift.

A tiny tiny place in Buxton, with its own Chocolatier, the eponymous Charlotte, whom you can see making the chocolates that she sells through a viewing window (when she makes them).

The chocolates are normally very, very fresh and are very tasty. You can also buy locally made ice cream here in various flavours, or sit at one of the four or so tables within the shop and order great Italian coffee or real hot chocolate (made from melted chocolate and hot milk). But be warned that the place really is tiny, so the seating arrangements are limited. Expect to share tables with other shoppers.

Wonderful tea shop serving fabulous cakes and especially glutamine free. As chocolates their chocolates are amazing. Staff are very friendly all in all a fabulous experience. Well worth a visit.

So worth a visit when in Buxton. Hot Chocolate second to none, plus home-made chocolates. What's not to like.

Coffee and cake fabulous. The chocolate caramel slice will be bringing my girlfriend and I back again. So to sum up price ok quality tops and lots of choice a very good 5 star coffee cake and chocolate shop.

Simply the best , always a great reason to visit Buxton. The most delicious individual creative chocolates delivered in style. The coffee is wonderful , only outdone by the superb friendly staff.

Nice little shop and cafe in the heart of Buxton Town Centre. Pleasant staff and the chocolates were great and well presented to be offered as a gift.
Highly recommend a visit if in or passing through Buxton.

Went here today as it was dog friendly but so glad we did. Such a quaint little place with a cosy feeling. The staff were friendly and efficient. Excellent carrot cake and delicious warm scones with clotted cream

Visited twice in one week during our Peak District break. Delovely hot chocolate and accompanying homemade tea cakes and crumpets. Great value. Lovely location near the recently revamped spa Crescent. Friendly staff who work hard to keep us all safe with Covid-19 H&S practices. Thank you!
