Cross Drove Fishery

Genuinely one of the best-looking lakes in the country (my opinion ) as it has everything you want in a naturally beautiful area. Big carp, I've had a 22lb and cats over 100lb. I caught a 60lb, and it was amazing
The bailiff is an absolute top lad, extremely friendly and knowledgeable. This is a must-see lake.

Day tickets and overnights are both allowed with the two bailifs doing regular walk around. They both know there stuff and will always put you on the spots to go..

Beautiful place with some amazing fish. Islands with bridges making it a wonderful place to fish.

I'm glad I took the time to find this fishery. Fair day ticket prices (10.00 for two rods) and fabulous fishing. Friendly bailiff that collects on the bank. Plenty of features to fish too and seemingly never very busy. Even when a match is on there are normally pegs available. Very picturesque in places and I often feel I have the place to myself during the week. Sensible rules, no keepnets, barbless hooks only. No pointless bait bans. Most baits produce and the quality of the fish is excellent. I caught many Bream to a fair size as well as Skimmers, Roach and Eels, plus Carp into double fugues as well as F1s and smaller carp. I also caught my first ever Wels Catfish (two in fact), I don't care if they are classed as kittens as they are so different and great to catch. If the fishery where more local to me rather than a visit when on holiday I'd be a fixture on the bank.

They have started night fishing at decent price £25 for 24 hours, plenty of big fish, best fishery locally, beautiful scenery
