Beautiful cards but a little pricey.
Need to be more like Clintons on price range.
Lots of good interesting books, and they used to have a nice cafe upstairs.

I went to WHSmiths today to see if the post office was open, 2 polite staff members called finley and maxwell told me it was shut on sundays.

Thank you very much, will be visting again when the post office is open.

Just been to the Post Office section to sort out a new Driving Licence....I was served by Sophie who was so helpful & kind. There was another lady too but never got her name.... Such lovely staff...thank you ladies.

On Monday the 11/3/19 I was wanting to purchase some "dabbers" (bingo pens) couldn't find them anywhere, went into WHSmith, couldn't find them myself, so asked for help off a young lady assistant, unfortunately didn't catch her name, she took me straight to them, they were exactly what I was looking for, good value too! i thanked her for her help, she said "you're welcome" wished me a nice day and i payed for my purchase and left. I would just like to say what a lovely, helpful and polite young lady she was.

It's your standard stationary store. It's nothing special, but the staff are very friendly and helpful. Good prices for their products, but you can obviously get stuff cheaper from discount stores or even online.

The staff are amazing! I was searching for a specific book and couldn't find it in the correct section because somebody had moved it, so I asked one of the staff members and within 5 minutes, about 5 staff members were all helping me try to find it!! We found it eventually in the completely wrong section haha! Great selection of books here.

Smiths has been on Chester high street for some time. It's always been the best place to go for books or latest mags. I still think it's competitive and comparable to online only retailers, but, often times it's better to see a book before you buy it. With that said.. I will always try to use Smiths above any other retailer. Clearance section is a must!!

Was served by lovely lady this morning re passport forms. She was very helpful.

I say it a good place to get what like . I get Model Military mags or see what good books. There is ,plus all kinds of things to look round to see . You may have hobby's like i do so there are many things to make in this shop . Writing maybe what you like . So go along find out for yourselfs.

Another first class customer friendly and knowledgeable service. I was satisfactorily provided with points I raised about my purchase. Hopefully WHS will remain a high street store for a long time.

Loved the gruffalo experience over the last week we have visited twice, such a good way to get children and adults into reading while raising money for a fantastic charity.

Bloody hell. It's the living embodiment of late 80s disorganisation. They also must sell the space outside the front door to sarcastic shouty sales people pushing energy change and other such twattery.

Able to manoeuvre my walking aid around easily. Very well signposted so was able to find everything I wanted.

Large city centre store which has a good magazine section, coffee shop and basement discount section.

Nice shop for all your stationery needs, plus. A huge book and magazine section.

Proper city centre store on three floors with lovely costs care upstairs which over looks the east gate and street below.

I work in the Costa that's inside WHSmiths and the staff are always friendly and hard at work, it's a good environment.
