Found this store by accident. Glad I did. Just moved back from Canada after 21yrs and wanted some of my favourite comedy dvds,found several at great prices and great quality.👍👍👌👌

Excellent customer service and I had initially bought an iPhone 12pro max which I currently use and came back later to get a Samsung a52s for my Dad. The phones still work perfectly fine

Brilliant service . Bought 2nd hand ps4 took it home n was faulty. . When returning to the shop they swapped it. After testing it.. all good.. Good prices on vouchers for store

One of the better CEX shops I've been in.

Been here twice to sell equipment, on both occasions I found the process to be very straightforward and quite fair with the prices offered. Staff were polite and friendly on both occasions. I wish I'd known about this place sooner as I'd already sold some stuff with Music Magpie and realised they really aren't as generous with their valuations. I would trade here again.

Bought a phone from them months ago and the battery no longer holds charge. They happily honored the warranty and I swapped it out for a replacement. Great service! Thank you!

They buy used goods for a price and sell secondhand. Mostly games, consoles and other electronics. Staff is really helpful and the process overall does not feel rushed.

Great staff, amazing service from everyone there. They know there stuff, traded in some stuff and was given a decent time to wait. When i got my stuff it was a great price. Love how some customers are complaining when they've seen how hard the staff work, To the Chromecast guy (Mike Critchley) was in store when they explained and you were happy with the stuff and i belive that they mentioned that if they couldn't test it then they couldn't test it properly as they need to sell the device and you walked out happy at the time. Not sure if you came back or not but you were fine with what they said. Either way great service from the staff and would shop there again

1st time to this branch and its a big positive. Big store with super helpful staff, who are constantly restocking or tidying shelving. Has lower trade-in rates compared to CEX but more stock and better prices on New and Used games so overall, its a Win!

Sold my tablet as a Grade A and they kept to their word. Much better than musicmagpie and way better than uberlink.

CEX The place to go to buy and sell dvds consoles , games ect. Reasonable prices depending what your after.
Lots of Computer games to choose from PS4 XBOX and for the vintage collectors PS2 OR 3. Staff are helpful and answer most questions. When selling always be aware that they will test the bigger items before giving a price.

Probably the nicest CEX in the area - staff are always cheerful and helpful (trust me, in some stores they are horrid to deal with). A good selection of items for sale. Those complaining about 'low' trade in/cash values really should research the prices online before visiting any CEX store to avoid any possible disappointment

Only place left in chester you can get games for a reasonable price. Staff are friendly and have a good chin-wag when trading stuff and are knowledgeable and helpful!

After moving home I decided (my girlfriend decided really) that I needed to make space and sell all my old games that I don't play (I may want to play someday maybe, but whats is done is done and I'm not bitter at all). Anyway, after arriving at CeX Chester and unloading a mammoth of games of varying formats and quality levels, it's fair to say the gentleman (checkered shirt and bearded man, you know who you are) at CeX was afraid of the mountain they had to tackle. This led to around 30 minutes of searching through cases, removing cheat codes on A4 pieces of paper behind (real 80s/90s kids know), to literally peeling off stickers over the barcodes. It was a task I wouldn't wish on anyone. Regardless, it was such a good laugh discussing locking butler's in freezers (croft reference, I promise), the best and worst of assassin's creed (boring number 3 guy), to buying old consoles and hoping friends would play that on New year's eve rather than going out. The gent even said he was sad when it ended as it made his day go from grumpy to fun. We felt the same.
