Acre Restaurant

I've been lucky enough to eat here several times, and have always brought different people with me to show them how lovely it is! It's great to be able to eat local produce and drink local wine from Norfolk. And the puddings are truly delicious!! Particularly the lemon tart! Would recommend this special place in a beautiful Norfolk setting to anyone.

Delightful locally sourced food and wine produced by the owner. Highly recommend the Staithe Smokehouse salmon, smoked only a few miles away from the restaurant. The Norfolk Pork chop is also fantastic! The seasonality of the products is evident by their top quality, especially the tomatoes.

My boyfriend and I recently ate at The Acre and it was a highlight of our recent trip to Norfolk. The food was amazing and the service was great! We tried the local wine, Hawkers Hill, which was delicious. We cannot wait to come back again!

Had a wonderful meal at Acre- Fantastic food, great use of seasonal produce in the menu! Set in the beautiful Norfolk countryside, it really is a special place to eat. I am already looking forward to my next trip back to Norfolk, and in particular back to Acre!

We had a dinner here last year and absolutely loved it. Fantastic food - really good dishes with good variety but felt representative of the area. The wine, service and ambiance were all fantastic!

Always a brilliant meal. Local produce is out of this world. Norfolk Coppa highly recommended. Steak was perfectly cooked and we strawberries so fresh! We will certainly be back!

A great place to eat as part of a lovely bank holiday trip out of London. Would recommend the local wine - grown by the proprietor. All round great vibes. Can’t wait to return next year.

We had dinner at Acre recently and were very impressed. It’s such a beautiful space with impeccable service. Our meal was totally delicious with the freshest of produce. The desserts were exquisite! We will be back, thank you.

Set in a beautiful vineyard valley. Excellent food with extra extra special desserts and wines.

Had the most delicious meal here, with exceptional service. We started with scallops and soup, simply yum, followed by a very tasty chicken schnitzel with capers while my husband had the “Best steak he’s ever eaten”.

Lovely meal at Acre. Friendly service and great local produce made my Partner’s birthday celebrations special. Recommend the Norfolk Pork Chop and some of the homegrown Norfolk wines!

What a wonderful restaurant. From the gorgeous interiors through to the delicious food and friendly hospitality, everything is so carefully - and beautifully - considered. I will definitely be returning as soon as I can!

Set in wonderful surroundings. We have eaten here on a number of occasions and it is our go to restaurant on the coast, The Acre never lets you down great staff that are attentive and the locally sourced food is excellent.

Delicious food, using lots of locally sourced produce and a real sense of what people really want to eat! Wonderful setting and service as an additional bonus.
