Lovely theatre with brilliant acoustics. Car park a couple of minutes walk away. Reasonably priced drinks. Very friendly staff.

Went to watch 'Dirty Dusting' on Thursday night!
The Perfomance.......also 5☆. Cunningly worded and very good comic timing. A 'reet good chortle.
The Palace.......after xx many years still looks fabulous after being refurbished.
Seats were comfy and the whole place made you glad to experience it. The lounge area is quite crowded before the performance and during the intermission (that word tells you just how old I am 😉) but that just adds to the ambiance. Given how busy it was, the bar and cafe serveries were pretty efficient.
All staff we met were fab and helpful. Pretty sure most of them will be involved with the Palace in other ways to help ensure its smooth running and continued success.
Really enjoyed the night and look forward to going back.
Whether you're local or not, give the Palace a try. It's a great place with dedicated people and some really interesting performances (and no, I'm not a member, just love 'real' things like this 👍😁).

Lovely night at our local venue watching the fantastic Rumours of Fleetwood Mac. We sat upstairs for the first time and that was great for a change.

We went, this week, to see the Drifters....the sound system was brilliant....the staff were all friendly....the only drawback is the parking....we parked about a 15 minute walk away.
I have been, before, so knew what to expect...but all in all, it's a great theatre to visit....the stalls seats are raked so easy to see over the head of the person in front ..

What a fantastic local theatre.
Went to see Rod Stewart tribute (SOME GUYS HAVE ALL THE LUCK) Saturday 11/11/23 and what a great performance this was.
The theatre staff are excellent and only too pleased to help.

I love small theatres, and this is a great venue with a really friendly vibe. Saw Steve Steinman's 'Anything For Love - The Meat Loaf Story' a couple of nights back - absolutely tremendous.

I visited the Palace Theatre with my daughter and we went to see Milkshake live. The Theatre is easy to get to and very clean and modern looking in the foyer. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and we got to our seats easily. The theatre is a nice size and our seats were close to the stage, which made my daughter happy, but even if we were sat further back we would have had a good view. The show was fantastic and enjoyed by all.
The facilities are all clean and tidy and there is a nice area to sit and have a drink. I am sure we will be back for further visits in the future.

This is a beautiful traditional theatre with the original features very nicely combined with a modern refurbishment. It's jointly attached to the National Civil War Museum. The bar and café is fine, what you'd expect but the theatre itself is really impressive. I've seen such a wide variety of shows here from traditional band gigs, to plays to stand up comedy and even a panel discussion on meditation with monks and a neuroscientist! Definitely recommended...
