Rutland Dental Care

After moving away from Rutland, I've struggled to find a decent dentist. So I returned here after 2 years. It's over an hour and a half, but worth it!

I've had terrible past experiences at other dentists, some traumatic, so going to the dentist is not something I like to do...but Dr Dipti Lad is an excellent dentist. Explains everything, shows you your X rays which I've never had! But is also extremely calm, patient & listens to you. I was given excellent advice on how to improve my dental care at home.

The reception & waiting room is calming and doesn't feel like you're going to the dentist (very helpful for a nervous patient)

All the other staff (reception & dental nurse) are kind & welcoming.

I do not relish a trip to a dentist following shocking work and experience in my youth (understatement!) I know I have to go otherwise it will be worse if regular trips aren’t undertaken to help prevent serious problems.

I registered at this dentist and had my first appointment in November 2022 and am on the advised 6 monthly checkups.

A filling from 20+ years ago fell out at new year. Off I went for the dreaded replacement. Every single step of my experience, despite the anxiety, was refreshingly easy, painless, and actually, made quite pleasant. The complete opposite of every other trip to a dentist and I’ve tried around 6 different surgeries in different parts of the country.

I had to go back two weeks later as I had an issue. It was exactly the same in terms of my great (!) experience and they even did my follow up free of charge due to the circumstances of what was needed.

I can’t rate the surgery and all who work there, high enough. I no longer fear a trip to the dentist. Not that I want to be there too often…

Dipti and her team go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable throughout your entire visit. There is such a friendly atmosphere and I really do enjoy my visits to the dentist! I have always felt really nervous about going to the dentist due to past experiences, but I never get that feeling when I go here. I will never go anywhere else! They are always accommodating and always listen to any questions you might have. I travel over 45 miles to my appointments here and having recently finished having clear removable braces, it really is worth it!!

I have always received excellent service and care from Andrews Dental Care. Dipti is brilliant and I cannot recommend her enough. In addition to my regular checks, I have had a root canal and crown and I have been very pleased during the procedure and result. All members of staff are very welcoming and professional. In a dental emergency I have always been seen quickly. During lockdown I have been attending appointments and have always found that they go above and beyond with precautions so that I feel safe. My young daughter has started to attend with me and she enjoys her trip to the dentist. I have finally found an excellent local dentist for my family who I can fully trust to provide excellent care.

We found ourselves in need of urgent dental care for my father whilst at a family wedding on a Saturday. Dr Dipti Lad accommodated us in spite of disruption to her plans for the day, and she & her husband delivered first class service and care making sure my father was treated graciously courteously and effectively making it possible for us to deal with the problem with the minimum fuss and bother. Thank you for going above and beyond the call of duty for us; your patients are fortunate to have such effective and compassionate folk for their dental needs!

I'm an extremely nervous person when it comes to the dentist. I saw Dr Lad and she was so kind and caring, she knew how to calm me down. Dr Lad explained everything thoroughly which made my nerves settle. Kudos to this dental practice. I actually am looking forward to my next appointment in 6 months!

Visited Andrews Dental Care for the first time today. We were pleasantly surprised by the very friendly welcome and the lovely modern layout and furnishings, nearly like entering your own living room. It's a nice relaxing environment and the staff make you feel very comfortable, through their caring attitude.
We came to the practice, as our dentist, Myra Ng moved here recently. She will be a great addition to the team and I can highly recommend her, as she has looked after our dental needs for almost nine years.

After a really bad experience at my previous dentist over 6 years ago, my faith has been completely restored thanks to Dipti and the team at Andrews Dental Care. I had been so anxious about going back to a dentist but they have been so reassuring and the dental treatment has been fantastic. It has a wonderful welcoming, homely atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. I would 100% recommend Andrews Dental Care if you are looking for a new dentist.

I have a life long fear of the dentist! Andrews Dental Care have been fantastic this year in restoring my smile and trust. It has been several appointments over the last three months but the results are excellent and I have already booked for my next check up. The practice is excellent. Nervous patients definitely catered for with kindness and everything is dealt with calmly. Mariyam Sattar (dentist) is just lovely. Gentle and explains everything well - inspires total confidence and this is only my second consultation with her. Aniko (dental nurse) also very friendly. Felt looked after and would highly recommend. Great team all round.

I have never been to a private practice in over 40 years, having had many dental issues and subsequent procedures over the years through various NHS practices, each very much traumatic but necessary to help me keep my teeth in good (as possible) shape.

I recently chipped my front tooth which was affecting my confidence and stopping me from smiling as well as making me feel very conscious of the chipped tooth. I had heard from friends and family how much difference it would make going to a private practice over an NHS practice, off I went researching why and which practice I could trust to suit my needs of restoring the smile of an extremely nervous patient.

I've now had an implant and veneers done at this practice who also identified (where multiple NHS dentists had failed) that I was an unknowing teeth grinder, likely during sleep, I have a solution in place again due to the thoroughness and diligence of the dentists at this practice which will help prolong my teeth.

In terms of the implant which was very carefully, professionally and meticulously carried out by Savan who dealt with my nervousness with such care that I'd recommend anyone to him, it took several visits, on each visit the procedure was explained to me in detail followed by the execution of the procedure with precision and care. Savan is a highly regarded implant specialist in dentistry circles and it's obvious after having him perform my implant exactly why that is the case, he's at the top of his game and it shows!

Combining this experience with that of the vaneer work carried out by Dipti has fundamentally helped me overcome my fear with going to the dentists, I don't think I'll be going anywhere else. The work carried out by Dipti again was to the highest of standards, she is very much detail orientated and only wants the best for her patients, anything less just won't do! Would I trust anyone else to look after my teeth? Absolutely not, I've found the best there is and I'm sticking with them.

With regards to the dental nurses, amazing, caring and professional are the first things that come to mind, they treat the patients with such care and compassion, like you're family not just another patient adds to the caring and calming atmosphere needed when a nervous person walks through the door.
All areas of the practice, from the toilets, reception, patient waiting room and treatment rooms are kept very clean and tidy, well done all at Andrews Dental Care!

As someone who has a fear of the Dentist I was extremely anxious about going. However, I had an excellent experience. Dr Dipti and her dental nurse were brilliant with me and I felt looked after from start to finish. This was my first time at a dentist as a non NHS patient and I would 100% recommend going here.

Dr. Lad has never hurt me once in the last 20 years during five crowns, several fillings and one root canal. Also did me a totally invisible repair to a badly chipped front tooth. Professional, knowledgable and friendly. Modern spotless premises. Recommended. Jon Dodson.

I moved to follow my Dentist Myra, from Newark to Andrew's Dental Care in Uppingham. Normally I'm not one for leaving reviews but the care and attention this practice gives its patients is first class and needs to be recognised. A special mention has to go to Mya, the dental assistant who had only just joined the practice that week. Not only did they both forego their lunch breaks to fit in another filling for me to save a journey but they worked as a team as if they'd worked together for years!!

I never thought I'd hear my self say "it was a pleasure to go to the dentists for a couple of fillings!"
