This place is such a little gem, the food was outstanding and hot chocolates were 10/10. Wasn’t too busy either which was nice. It’s dog friendly inside as well which was a bonus! Staff were all really lovely as well, very smiley and polite!

Best breakfast I’ve had in a long time, bacon roll and a couple of fried eggs were pretty sweet. Great service, good price, and a dog friendly area as a bonus!
Will call again if we are in the area.

Love the little dog area at this place with dog beds and bowls to use. Lovely and cosy. Often visit during weekdays. Breakfast burger is nice.

3 of us on bikes visited here one chilly damp morning for a pre booked breakfast during one covid times. Phoned the day before to book a table and was greeted by lovely warm friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious and prompt. Cakes looked amazing thou managed to resist. If your a cyclist who’s looking for a stop then you can’t do much wrong here. Or if you just fancy somewhere nice for a cup of tea and cake. Either way whatever takes your fancy this place is worth a visit. And it’s supporting local trade. 👍🏻

Had our Bowls club Presidents meal here on Saturday in the Restaurant.
Service was quick and efficient. Staff were lovely polite and worked really hard to make sure all ran smoothly (which it did) Food was excellent and very tasty would definitely go back again.

Fantastic food served by some very helpful staff. I’ve been a few times now and have been impressed with the quality, as well as the price. Recommended to a few friends who have also enjoyed it

We love this place. No pretentious menu just good honest food well cooked. Lovely happy staff what more can you ask for?

Menu is becoming less varied and interesting.

Very good, quality food from local suppliers, actually had been to 2 of them before brunch. Excellent size of portions, in fact even had a smaller dinner I was still full. Waffles look superb but had a sausage and bacon ciabatta, and eggs. All very good value.

Service was friendly and happy with my large greyhound who did his best to get in the way.

Today was my first visit under the New Management, and upon arrival was impressed by what I saw. Staff immediately acknowledged our arrival and pointed us to a free table, already prepared for the first customers of the day.
A very friendly waitress arrived straight away with menus and took our coffee and breakfast food order. The New Village Cafe, had good sensible background music playing which added to the atmosphere.
The coffee was good and both our sausage baps arrived quickly were excellent. With no parking difficulties and good opening times, a prompt return visit is likely.
Thanks again to our waitress who looked after us!

We attended the Psychic Supper last week. Not attended an event like this before so didn’t know what to expect. It was a full house which is lovely to see. A great event with some amazing predictions made. The food was either jacket potatoes or chilli and rice in a taco bowl. Drinks are reasonably priced and we were able to squeeze in a pudding.
Can’t wait to book for the next event. Thank you.

Excellent food, well priced. We often start our weekend with a breakfast here. Our 4 year old is catered for very well with bespoke meals according to her rather fussy and specific requests. Staff are very friendly, especially John who is very welcoming. Highly recommended.

Have been going here for years. Never had a bad meal. Lovely food. Good prices. Quick and friendly service. Last time we went they had revamped the outside a bit and improved the eating area. On a sunny day a lovely place to eat.
