All Saints Church in Lydd, also known as "The Cathedral on the Marsh," is the longest parish church in Kent, measuring 199 feet. Its tower, standing at 132 feet, is among the tallest in the county. The church's origins date back to the 5th century, incorporating a small Romano-British basilica. Most of the current structure is medieval, with significant additions in the 13th and 15th centuries. Severely damaged during World War II, the church was restored post-war. It is a Grade I listed building, known for its historical significance and architectural beauty.

All Saints Church is the longest parish church in Kent at 199 feet (61 m), and also has one of the tallest towers in the county at 132 feet (40 m). Severely damaged by World War II bombing, the church was subsequently restored and is now a Grade I listed building.

It is a mystery place in the abandoned town around the closed shops... It is a grandiose Church which can be seen from a far!

Had our granddaughters christening.here about 130 people attended the service was great and the rector was superb great the way everyone was made to feel welcome
