InstaVolt Charging Station

I used InstaVolt stations twice on my journey today, experience has been consistently excellent. Very fast charging speeds and great facilities near the charging stations. This station was no exception. Feels like you’re setting the standard for charging experiences in the UK.

Only slight problem is the contactless card payment is extremely sensitive and the chip needs to perfectly line up with the sensor, but other than that was spot on....in the Diner car park and food was good

It's Instavolt, of course it works. Somewhat expensive but I'll pay more for reliability.
Easyish access, handy garage or Diner if you want it.
Very quick.
Didn't quite fathom their stating method; used the app and tried to "swipe to start" but nothing happened. Used bank card easily enough.

The charging experience was great. But I just received a parking charge notice for parking there early hours to charge up. I’ve appealed it and hopefully it gets approved. Not paying £60-£100 on top of the price I paid to charge.
Just be careful charging here coz I don’t understand why I got a PCN.

Review EDIT: After emailing InstaVolt and appealing my fine, it has been cancelled. I have changed my review from 1/5 stars to 5/5. It was an inconvenience getting a fine in the first place, however I am impressed with how quickly my PCN was cancelled! I will continue to use InstaVolt chargers! Thank you! :D

My first time using Instavolt and it worked well. Added the 30% charge to my MG ZSEV while I drank a coffee.

Station 1 is the left, 2 is the right. Choose the correct one so you don’t have to change your parking spot like I did! Easy to use, clean area, cafe nearby.

Ideal spot to recharge. Efficient InstaVolt station, American Style diner to eat or Greggs takeaway in adjacent garage. Plus a field behind to exercise the dog. Perfect

Super fast charging station, unfortunately the OK Dinner had no Chef available so no food only milkshakes 🤮

Never had any trouble charging here. Got a rate of about 45kW on a Renault Zoe
