Just returned from a long weekend at The Norfolk Brickyard and what a beautiful place. Tim & his family were so welcoming of our group and really couldn’t be a more helpful host. So thank you Tim.
On arrival we arrived slightly earlier than our group Tim didn’t mind at all. We were asked to follow Tim on his bike for the tour and to be shown to your very large and secluded spot. Big enough for our group to be together and we were chuffed to see a firepit ready to go.
The barn was so rustic & cool. A bar is open when it’s busier and the cocktails are great value and refreshing. We used it often.
Children were completely safe here and able to explore and be a little feral. Was such a relaxed vibe.
The nearby pizza oven was a bonus and communal so it was really nice to cook and chat with other campers.
One of our large groups highlights were the showers….WOW. 2 to choose from one a little warmer than the other…but honestly the best shower we’ve ever used on a campsite. In the middle of a wooded area you can see it all when showering. The toilets at the shower are simple but tidy…what you’d expect for outdoor loos.
Overall a beautifully wild camp ground. Would return in a heartbeat for a relaxing, natural and fun time.

We LOVE it here!
Second time visiting and it was still as incredible. You are given a very warm greeting and shown where you will be staying, and then you are left in wonderful, peaceful bliss.
It's an amazing break for adults and children alike, there is plenty to do and see around this area of Norfolk, and it's a really lovely site - the kids loved it!
Can not recommend enough and we will 100% be booking again.
Thank you for a great stay. 😁

We had such an amazing weekend at The Norfolk Brickyard! I've been to many campsites before and this was the best experience I've ever had. We stayed in one of the safari tents which was fab. The place was kitted out enough for us to enjoy the weekend while still being able to embrace the wilderness at the same time.
We saw so much incredible wildlife! Woodpeckers, hedgehogs, deer and a heron by the lake behind the site.
There were also lots of things that made the stay feel quite luxurious; we made pizzas and cooked them in the pizza oven, we sat round a huge fire every night, we had cocktails in the barn bar and the shower always felt very special, perfectly hot and a view of the sunlight coming in through the trees.
The campsite strikes a beautiful balance between wild and luxurious, it stays true to the spirit of camping but adds in a few little treats that make it feel special and allows you to mix and socialise with other campers.
The owners were extremely friendly throughout our stay and I can't thank them enough! We will definitely be back 😊

We love Brickyard campsite -we have stayed more than once and can’t wait to come back again. Lovely facilities with large, distinct pitches, and the barn and cob oven provide a communal area that children and adults all enjoy. This year we cooked pizzas and blackberry crumbles in the cob oven. Our children particularly love this campsite and make friends every year, we love that we can give them some freedom knowing the site is dog-free and the night times are lovely and quiet. Thanks Tim, cya soon!

We wanted secluded camping and that's what we got. A perfect setting. Tim you were fab, an amazing host and very welcoming. (Also a pro at a cocktail or 2)
The facilities were excellent, the bar in the barn was a massive hit.
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we will definitely be back!

Such a beautiful campsite to stay at, with completely secluded pitches in a stunning location. I would definitely visit here again, the service was brilliant with Tim and his partner being beyond helpful. The facilities were great and always clean. I could not recommend this campsite more, it's perfect for a nature retreat!

Marvellously hosted, with outdoor pizza oven, friendly barn hangout area and most of all private pitches with open fires allowed: this is the best campsite I’ve been to!

A great location for exploring this lovely part of the North Norfolk coast. A few hundred yards from the beautiful Holkham estate, with bike friendly trails leading all the way to the beach and on to Wells.

We saw hares, hedgehogs and muntjacs on the site and the whole area is terrific for watching wildlife. Very strongly recommended!

Excellent campsite with some really thoughtful details. We stayed in one of the Safari Tents which are excellently appointed and very comfortable.
We were there for a festival at nearby Holkham Hall which you can walk to.
Would definitely visit again. Tim is an excellent host. Be sure to order a Dark and Stormy from his cool barn bar.

What an amazing stay, Tim and Catherine have created the most perfect haven. Pitches are nice and flat with plenty of space, we pitched 8 tents! The facilities are clean , well maintained and in keeping with the site. The pizza oven makes for a fun evening and the barn is a great space, especially with the good old British weather. Tim is very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be back. Thank you from BMPS

Probably the best campsite I've ever stayed at, when you consider the combination of location and facilities.

This site works differently from many where you have quite a private section of woods where you aren't having other people walking through at any point and you have a good amount of privacy. We stayed 4 nights and had the best time.

The firepit provided was used every day to cook on, and between the wood you can buy on sight and foraging (our pitch was next to a marshy area and had a huge amount of dead wood which I used) we had a great time having a camp fire. Due to the pitches being large you also didn't need to worry about the tents being too close to the fire.

The site is also brilliantly situated, being close to the Burnham villages and Wells. We walked to Burnham Market one day and Wells another, probably around 10k round trip for the former and 10k one way for the other. Whilst you do have to walk on surrounding roads occasionally to reach these places, they are generally quite and there are verges to walk on for the most part.

I'd strongly suggest getting fresh fish from Wells, there was a boat which sells crab, lobster and mackerel on the harbour wall on their return from sea. This was a highlight for me, cooking it on the fire back at the campsite.

Facilities are excellent, with hot water showers which are semi-outside but with privacy. There is also a barn where Tim serves drinks in the evenings on occasion, we only stopped in on one evening, but it was a really friendly environment to have a drink in.

Tim was extremely accommodation and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this site to anyone who loves camping.

Best campsite I've been to. Each camping area is it's own little glade, separated from the others by trees. Toilets, showers and washing up stations are clean and work really well. Love the pizza oven. Really great for family or quiet solo camping.

The Norfolk Brickyard is a truly very, very special place. One of a kind and we LOVE wild camping here. And we have done a lot of camping over the years. I almost don't want to leave a 5* review, because selfishly we want it to remain the best camp site in the whole of Norfolk (and this is a massive County!) and not get too busy!

The facilities are spot on. Location perfect. Shared barn area super cool. Cob oven gorgeous. And the hosts are really thoughtful and kind. We've stayed many times and also treated ourselves, last year with friends, and stayed in the Keeper's Hide, which was a whole other level of loveliness.

One of my favourite places! This is my third time visiting and it's always been lovely. The owner is great and super helpful. The facilities are brilliant - hot showers and a communal barn with darts, a piano, and a bar! Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a trip away to the countryside.

Great camping site, you get a personal secluded pitch for your group that feels really private and secluded from other guests. It’s got a great bar in the barn and a pizza oven! Tim is an excellent and friendly host and will make sure you have a brilliant stay. Would happily come back again.

I love this campsite and I have never stayed in a nicer place. As soon as I arrived at the brickyard it was so welcoming and ready for me and my family. The facilities were amazing and still felt like a wild experience evwn with the warm showers. The barn is lovely and I couldnt stop myself from getting a drink from the bar.

Tim and his family make this campsite feel so special. The whole family are so nice and know their home like the back of their hand which is always helpful in a new place I am looking forward to my meet visit and will be recommending this site to others. Thank you for the stay Tim I love your campsite.

Incredible campsite, makes you feel as if you are wild camping but with the necessities round the corner such as full working hot showers, toilets, washing up areas for pots and pans, Tim was absolutely lovley and offered to put on the stone pizza oven when ever we wished. The barn is a gorgeous rustic area with electricity, bar and a fire place which we spent a few nights in, our final night we offered Tim to come have a couple drinks with, we had a good laugh and couldn’t have asked for better company.

Would highly recommend and will 100% be coming back!

This is amazing campsite, and is one of the best I have ever been to! It's in a lovely and tranquil location, offering spectacular views at night due to the lack of light pollution!

It's the perfect place for families, where you can have open fires and even bake your own scrumptious pizza in an onsite cob oven.

We had been to this campsite many years ago and liked it then. It’s a beautiful spot with beautiful pitches for your tent. We loved the barn and my daughter loved playing darts. Unfortunately we had a really noisy group next to us so we’re not able to sleep well the 1st night. We informed Tim the owner and he was so upset that this had happened. He went straight away to talk to the group who were silent the next night. Tim and his wife are lovely and we were so sad to leave this campsite. We hope to return next year.

Amazing place, will definitely be visiting again.
Wild camping-like experience but with great amenities. The pitches are large and private.
The pizza oven was a great touch and the barn is fantastic. We even shared a drink with one of the hosts, Tim, great guy. Looking forward to next time.
