Owlers Retreat Camber

Very handy location, couple of minutes walk straight down to the beach. Was great just being able to return to the Retreat, whilst seeing hundreds other have to trek back to car parks and long exit queues. Owner, Dominic very responsive. Rooms comfy and as per pics.

We had a fantastic stay at Owlers Retreat over the May bank holiday weekend - blessed with some good weather, but even when the rain appeared Owlers Retreat was a great place to stay. Beautifully decorated, clean and so close to the beach you can be there in less than a minute. The owners were really helpful before and during our stay and they have really thought about the little touches that make a stay even easier/more special, including arriving to the most lovely welcome pack.

Perfect place to stay with young children, with a secure and private garden and the beach almost on your doorstep. We will definitely return. Thanks again.

We had an amazing stay at Owls Retreat. The home was homely. The location was great literally a 1 minute walk to the beach. Amenities close by. Dominic gave us access to beach equipment which was handy. The welcome pack was a brilliant touch. Farm shop up the road was brilliant too.

Owlers is the perfect, dog friendly retreat. A stones throw from the stunning sandy beach and close to fabulous restaurants and cafes in nearby Rye.
Equipped to a high standard, with comfy sofas and beds and secluded garden.
I highly recommend and shall return soon

Owners Retreat is a lovely cottage with comfy beds, a cosy lounge, a great log burner and many stylish touches. Dominic was very helpful throughout and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Many thanks!

We just got back from spending 5 days at Owler's Retreat. The accommodations are very clean and organised. Clearly, there is a lot of TLC to ensure its in very good condition. What a pleasant surprise to have a welcome pack from the owners to help get things started. Its very close to the entrance to the beach and other sights around the area. Coordinating the whole rental with the owner was a breeze. We are coming back to Camber Sands and just hope this cottage will be available - we don't need to look elsewhere. Thanks.

What a fantastic cottage almost right on the water next to one of the best beaches in the East. House is perfectly appointed, cosy, warm, and comfortable at all levels. The outdoor space is wonderful with the roar of the English Channel in the background.

We had a wonderful time--as did our 3 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback who couldn't get enough of the beach!

Great golf and historic towns nearby and only 2.5 hours from west London.

It had been two years since we were able to return. The owners have maintained the home to very high standards, it was as if we had been there only yesterday. Prior to our arrival, our host was sending us suggestions on where to eat and things to do. Great location. Lots to do in the area. Our puppies Bella and Zoe love Camber Sands!

A mere stone’s throw from the amazing Camber beach, Owlers is borth quirky and very comfortable. We stayed for 5 days touring around to Rye, Hythe and Dungeness- what an area. We would thoroughly recommend Owlers and would definitely stay again 🙂
