The Well House

My friends and I had the great pleasure of spending NY 2017 @ The Well House. In short, the house is fantastic, extremely well-stocked for entertaining. Whether that be cooking, eating, quiet reading or good old family game time, The Well House has it all.

We experienced a minor challenge that we needed to engage with Anne & Richard on, but their speed of response was first class. They are also extremely friendly & accommodating, you never know the level of service until you put it to test and they passed with flying colours!

All this in a fabulous area of the country, every one of our party found something to thoroughly enjoy... Pubs, country parks, walks, runs... You name it. Thank you for making us so welcome in your fantastic house!

A long weekend with family. 3 generations aged from 15 to 82. We all loved The Well House. A beautiful barn conversion in a tranquil location.

The welcome goodies were delicious -especially the local Newton Court cider and Perry!

No criticisms. The only thing to mention is that the Well House doesn't offer level accomodation. It is an old building after all. The steps from the hall up to the living room are deep. That said, the ground floor en suite is good for those a little unsteady on their feet. The provision of a shower stool was appreciated

We're already planning a return visit.

The Well House proved to be far better than we could have ever expected for my family to gather and celebrate my wife's 60th Birthday.

The house was simply gorgeous and very sumptuous with every detail covered by Anne and her husband.

The two of them have thought of everything to make your/our stay a wonderful experience to treasure forever.

Stayed at The Well House for a second occassion last weekend. It is a wonderful building and very well equipped for large family groups. Communication with Anne is great, and the little touches are most welcome. Only gripe is the (albeit - so can't really complain!!) free WiFi is very slow and is poor signal around the house and phone signal is poor on EE, but it didn't really matter as we were there to spend time with family. Thoroughly recommend the place and will definately be back!!!

Excellent accommodation. Master bedroom is the size of some whole flats. Rooms throughout are comfortable. Lots of small steps and changes of level, wouldn't recommend it for anyone elderly, in a wheel chair or likely to trip

My family and I stayed here for a long weekend a few years ago. We have stayed in many different places over the years, and this still ranks as one of our favourites! We found the accommodation to be excellent and its cozy lounge was just perfect for the family to spend time together!

We had a lovely stay here. Very relaxing. Beautiful house.
