We stayed for 10 days at Rose Cottage in the grounds of Marsh House Farm. This lovely quiet and comfortable property had all mod cons (washing machine; dishwasher, microwave, Wi-Fi etc). The cottage had everything we needed for ourselves and 7 year old son. It was truly a home from home and made for the perfect base to visit my mum in Moreton on Lugg, the characterful historic sites and also a trip to the Forest of Dean. Both Tracey and Brian were the most accommodating and friendly hosts we have ever had the pleasure to meet and couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely be staying at Rose Cottage again on our next visit to Herefordshire. Highly recommended property and hosts.

We stayed 11 nights on the CS using our caravan as a base to visit family who live near by. The owners Brian and Tracy were very welcoming explaining whats what and where on the site. The toilets, shower and utility room facilities are very good with plenty of hot water etc and kept very clean. Nearer our departure date we were offered a workshop to dry the awning out if needed, another thoughtful touch. The pitch fee was inclusive of electricity and in these costly times we made efforts to minimise our use where possible.

We put up a porch awning on the grass and considering the heavy rain we had it did not get boggy. The hard standings easly accomodate 8m caravans and must be 3m wides so are wide enough to provide a solid path around to the various service points on the caravan if your not using an awning

And if you think you have seen a small black panther - that will be Zeus, the owners cat doing his daily patrol around the site.

I cant recall being on a site where everybody was so friendly, not the case here with cheery hello's and chit chat..

We definately recommend this site and intend to use again.

Had a lovely night stay at the Rose Cottage. As soon as I arrived I had a warm welcome from Tracey. The cottage was immaculate and done up beautifully.

I very much enjoyed my stay with my little puppy. Will definitely come back again!

Brian and Tracey are super friendly hosts, grounds are beautifully kept, clean shower/toilet/utility block dog safe and welcoming (mine could run around freely), large fully equipped gym. Loved our stay. We had the Wild Camping pitch and had so much space to ourselves with the trees and lake right outside our tent. Our tent is laaarge and space was not a problem, actually we had tons of space to spare. Glad I took our blue light to keep the mozi's away at night though. Convenient location to visit many beautiful tourist spots. If you want a relaxing, friendly and cosy campsite (only 5 hardstanding pitches, 1 electric hook up pitch, 1 wild camping pitch) then I can't recommend Marsh House Farm enough, you wont be sorry you stayed.

For a start the couple that run it are first rate. Stayed up til almost midnight to let me in (other establishments in the area shut reception at 10). Room was nice and comfortable, the farm itself is beautiful complete with a gym and a small lake for fishing. Lastly when I checked out I didn't hand in the keys to which they responded "it's alright send em back when you get the chance." Highly recommended!

What a lovely little campsite, a real hidden gem.
If you're searching for a clean, friendly campsite in Hereford, look no further!
Stayed here with my husband and two young children. There is a pretty little lake in the woods, with a little bridge, that they loved fishing over with their little nets.
Good location with a couple of lovely National trust places nearby including a castle one.
Nice clean toilets/showers and a lovely relaxed family feel to the place.
The owners were lovely and so helpful from booking to when we went to say goodbye at the end. They were great with the kids and let them play in the garden with the dogs which they absolutely loved!
We will definitely be back!
