Lakes Edge Limited

This was our second visit to Lakes Edge staying at Poachers Barn and it didn't disappoint again. Such a lovely place, clean and tidy and the pool is just amazing. We're already looking at dates for our next stay. Highly recommend

This was a really lovely space to spend a long weekend. We stayed in one of the cottages which had a Sauna and a Hot tub! The house had everything we could ask for from king size beds to en-suits. With top of the range appliances to make your stay even better.

The grounds themselves were beautiful. 50 Acres of walks and scenery and lovely woodlands. We enjoyed a walk round the grounds when we were recovering from a good drinking session at Chase distillery. (If your in the area this is also a must visit!)

We have already said we want to come back to this place again and have already started planning Christmases and breaks to spend with friends!

We rented Butlers cottage for a long weekend to celebrate our daughter’s birthday with friends. From the moment we arrived we knew we had chosen well. The staff -Liz and Shan were extremely helpful, throughout booking process and on arrival.
The Butlers cottage was absolutely beautiful inside and the private garden with sauna and hot tub was amazing too.
The beds were superb and everything you could need to make your stay perfect, was in this house.
The peaceful grounds were absolutely stunning, my small dog loved exploring on our walk.
On Saturday evening after returning inside after a few drinks on the patio, we thought we felt a little chilly so one member of our party lit the wood burner as logs, kindling and firefighters were included next to the fireplace. That was absolutely just what we needed as we settled down for a fun cosy evening with board games.
If you think you may like to stay here, I totally recommend you do, it is absolutely beautiful.

I took my wife away for her 30th birthday at lakes edge and stayed at Adams lodge on site over the weekend.

Having stayed away at numerous lodges and hotels around the country together, we can honestly say lakes edge is by far the best stay we have ever had.

Adams lodge is the perfect accommodation for a special occasion. It is modern inside with everything you need for your stay. The private hotub and sauna was easy to use and was an added bonus to a perfect stay.

What makes lakes edge so special was the grounds on site. Me and my wife took a walk around the lakes on site and we both agreed, we haven’t felt so peaceful probably ever! We didn’t see a single person as the grounds are so large. All we could hear was the birds and the calming lake. Being in a quiet location, we didn’t hear any cars. It was amazing.

Throughout the whole process, the staff helped me with any questions I had and knowing it was my wife’s birthday, they added extra touches inside our accommodation to make it special.

Watching the sunset from our lodge with the lake right in front of us was magical.

For anyone wanting to celebrate a special occasion, I would highly recommend adams lodge on site at Lakes edge. I can promise, you will not be disappointed. It went far beyond our expectations. We shall most definitely be returning to this magical location.

Amazing cottage and facilities!
Kids and adults loved the pool, garden, play area and that house. All the areas were clean and well maintained. We had plumbing issues day 2 and Liz (manager) was quick to respond and organise support.
I would highly recommend this lake edge group.

The Gaggles is an amazing house finished to a very high standard with private access to a pool house with a pool, sauna, and steam room. The beautifully maintained grounds include a lake, a well signed woodland walk, and a wheelchair friendly drive. We saw pheasant and bats. In the unlikely event the children tire of the pool there is a kids play area and endless grass to run around on. The staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful.

Excellent secluded accommodation with a hot tub and sauna. There were 7 of us in total and didn't once feel like we were stepping on each other's toes. The hit tub can fit about 8 people with a squeeze but ideally for 4-6 people. Kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms are an excellent size.

Highly recommend Lake's Edge to all.

Well equipped and thoughfully designed/decorated cottage retreats set in stunning Estate grounds and magical woodlands with lakes and waterfalls.

We had an amazing secluded weekend here and will be planning a return visit soon.

Beautiful country cottages. The property has a little bit of everything… luxury hot tubs, rolling green lawns and wild forest along the river walk. It’s a wonderful place for kids and adults to explore.

Wonderful accommodation, spacious, well appointed great pool, we went for a family reunion. Any little problem was sorted out very quickly.
