Exactly what I needed after a few days on the road - a random quiet peaceful cheese diary on the side of the road. £12 for a coffee and cheesy ploughman’s….Yes please. Some much better than an another motorway service station. They even posted and sent some cheese off as birthday present!

Went back to the Monkland Cheesemaking Café & Farm Shop. We had ad a magnificent Blue Cheese Ploughman’s and a fantastic Ham & Chutney roll.
Bought more cheese than is healthy and washed it all down with 2 amazing Cappuccinos.
The staff were super helpful and know their cheeses and are happy to let you sample.
It really is a destination shop… give it a look.

What a great little find. We wanted to have a ploughman's lunch and couldn't find a pub that provided this locally to where we were going, Croft Castle, so googled Ploughman's Herefordshire and Monkland Dairy came up. The portions were generous, with delicious bread and cheese made in the dairy. Local beer. We sat in the garden. It was perfect.

Been driving past this for years visiting family but have always been in to much of a rush to stop, well thank god we finally did, had a cheese and ham roll which was unbelievable! Still thinking about it now, fresh leaf tea which was beautiful, wide range of products, reasonably priced! Will be visiting again.

Visited twice in 3 years. Staff super friendly and helpful. Allowed my father who is less able to stand to sit in front of cheese counter and spent 15 minutes talking us through options and giving tasters. Had a ploughmans and cheese scone in the cafe and bought lots of cheese to take home. Delicious!

Just wish we had stopped here years ago. Everything we brought was fantastic and I will be back.

An absolutely beautiful little cafe and shop. We had a delicious lunch of soup with bread and cheese. The cheese is delicious and high quality, the bread is homemade and all of the food is very fresh. The cakes are also lovely, and the staff are helpful and friendly.

The shop is well stocked with high quality local produce, and is a great place to buy gifts!

Wonderful find, stopped off for lunch on a road trip. Great ploughmans and real leaf tea (10 stars for that alone).

Great range of produce, highly recommended.

What a fabulous place - easy to miss if intent on getting from one main place to another!
Superb coffee. BUT - their **own cheeses** are amazing.
Food looked good too; shame it was the wrong time for us...

What a find! Such a lovely welcome. Delicious selection of cakes and a little Brown Betty of proper leaf tea and delicate china tea cups. Just perfect. The ladies behind the counter were so welcoming it was a lovely experience. Not to mention the cheeses.....! We'll definitely be back! Thank you so much.

What could be more perfect. A country cottage is attached to a cheese maker. A cup of tea. A toasted teacake slathered in Dragon butter. The sun shining. Good service and surroundings. The cheese ain't bad either. It's worth a stop.

Visited previously for delicious cake and tea (in delightful cups and saucers!). Just visited again, this time for lunch. Lovely warm service and really delicious food. Shop full of goodies! Sat outside in the sunshine. Certainly on our list of favourites! Would have taken photo of soup and bread but had already made a start!

This place is well worth a visit...plenty of seating in the rustic barn style upper room. Although it's not table service the food is good, best cheese scone I've had in a long while. Staff are friendly and welcoming and food is delivered to the table after ordering. The cheese selection is great if your looking for something to take home and you can try the selection before buying.
