They did an excellent job framing my 2 meter square hand made solid oak frame with a double mount with two colours and with 12 separate prints in each frame.

What a helpful and tolerant person, I arrived with a confused set of requests, and he helped me get what was needed for my daughters A level art exhibition. It did look like he had experienced this before. All at a very reasonable price.

Beware, don't bring your picture here for framing.

When I took my picture in the owner came across as being very knowledgeable, spent time with me discussing my choices, how to care for the picture once I'd taken it back home and advised it would take 7-10 working days to frame. I paid the fees and, nine working days later, called to find out how it was going. That's when I became worried because the owner appeared to not know what I was talking about and still acted confused even after he'd retrieved the order, I went over my requirements several times because of it and was told it would be ready within two days, which would have been eleven working days but I couldn't make it to the studio then so rang on the twelfth working day and was told nothing had been done but that he'd get "straight" on it and call me when it was ready. I didn't hear anything and, after fifteen working days, decided to go and collect it whether it had been framed or not. I turned up at the workshop and learnt, to my dismay, that he'd fitted a completely different frame from the one I'd chosen and, when I told him to remove it and refund me what I'd paid, he became very nasty, called me a liar because he'd fitted the one I'd chosen, accused me of trying to get something for nothing and that my only option now was to leave it with him for the foreseeable future and he'd fit the right frame when he could get around to it - bearing in mind, by the way, according to him he'd already fitted the right one!! There was no hint of an apology, the colour and style of frame doesn't even go with the picture or, for that matter, anything in my home and he completely refused to refund even a portion of the cost and that if I didn't leave, he'd call the police and have me thrown out. Do yourselves a favour guys and take your picture for framing to anywhere else in the country but keep away from here unless, of course, you like having to pay for what you don't want or like and be accused of being a liar and a cheat in the process. .
